  1. Looks like more rain headed your way too! Might as well set up an indoor range with a pellet gun!
  2. There you go. I thought there was a very slight difference in most primer holes between rifle and pistol though?
  3. It had to have "flat fired". The whole primer was sitting up to high and the bolt face hit it. There isn't any way a round is going to go off unless a primer triggers the charge. Most definitely post a pic. This should be informative for all the AR shooters whether they reload or not.
  4. Heck they might work in certain cases. I will readily state that I learn something new every time I look up something in the reloading world! Let's see if one of the more seasoned reloaders can shed some light on this!
  5. Have you contacted the BATF in Nashville? I'm sure they are very familiar with his issues. I also believe that another dealer in Franklin "assumed" some of his weapons and parts! You might find that your AOW is sitting somewhere right now. Confronting him face to face probably won't get you the results your seeking. If you can determine he is still at those apartments, get Rutherford Co civil courts involved and go that route. If he won't show for that then you get a summary judgment which is worth more than a cussing on his home front that gets you involved in a situation that degrades your issue. The judgement will hang over his head for a long time and ALSO allow you to set a garnishment if he has a job in the county.
  6. As long as your not striking the primers you'll be okay pulling the bullets with a standard hammer style puller.
  7. I sent him PMs and an email saying if he needed it that bad he could have the 25. He has to live with himself, I don't. Now, 600 bucks is a way different ball game.
  8. Fairly certain this is the group of apartments off Bradyville Pike. Left off Bradyville, left at the complex center and left set of units, about 2 sections from the end. Murfreesboro, Tennessee - Google Maps
  9. I went to his apartment once about 2 years ago when I purchased a side saddle for a 870 shotgun. He installed it. He has probably moved on but I might be able to google the location. He was on the second floor. Would that help?
  10. TNrobocop may know his current whereabouts. I heard he was bouncing at a bar in the Boro for a while after he lost his FFL. I bought one of his tickets for the Thompson Machine Gun raffle. Still got it in the envelope somewhere. Worth spit. As stated, if he owes you gear or money, good luck, your in line with a bunch of folks and that's sad. Frank appeared to have a good thing building.
  11. Covered this one back in May but not a bad one to keep reviving for those that missed it. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/national-politics-legislation/21301-we-democracy-republic.html
  12. So are you going back to get him or did he get away! You're supposed to get them with the first shot dude! Tell "A" to try harder!
  13. Oh I'm not doubting you one bit. I just want to see the van! I also go to races just to see who wins.....right?
  14. You must post pictures of your van! And tell Ms. Bronker that the way to that new Volvo is not by providing you with venison tartar on the way home! Glad you all are OK! Seth obviously is the one with the smarts as he reacted correctly in this high stress situation!
  15. 20 years for me July 15. I'm sure its not a scientific data point but does it seem to be a trend here that folks who are responsible, financially stable for the most, and security conscious gun owners seem to be able to maintain long lasting marriages? It seems to tell a story reading this thread that ties into the current social and political themes in America.
  16. I still have all that stuff in a bag but its going in the metal bin as it's copper washed steel. I have some Wolf brass spire points for hunting with and they are all brass. I'm stopping by that shop in Gallatin this week to see if they have any more and get a box for you and Mcflurry. 56, thanks and I'll remember to bring your primers. Did you hear the big booms from Westmoreland a little while ago? We had our fireworks display tonight. Started an hour late but they did get it off. Started at 1000. I'm sure you could hear it down there!
  17. Mike, if you'll save that x54 brass I'll buy it from you. I intend to start reloading that caliber as well and have been saving what little brass I have found.
  18. Dang, just dang! I'm definitely changing the eating habits now.
  19. Nope, different cup sizes, could lead to having exposed primer even when seated fully.
  20. Get those CCI 5.56 specific primers everyone!! And no, don't use the Federal, they are well documented for having a softer cup and are susceptible to slam fire. Glad you guys are okay!!!
  21. Is this only so you don't have to find the slide release? If so I think your doing a lot of extra and potentially unsafe steps where you could just practice with a totally empty shotgun and know where that release is and rack one in and go! The purpose of the empty chamber is to be empty. "Know thy weapons and their abilities and you shall have long life and prosper" old Judeovulcan proverb
  22. Didn't I see a lot of those on Oleg Volk's site? Great pics anyway.
  23. Gotta love the RIA's
  24. Lowers is easy!!!! Where the uppers at!!! Got a Essential Arms lower with RRA LPK just waiting for the flat top middy. 4 months and counting.
