Don't worry about getting stuck with a sigma trigger, the FNP's trigger even in DA is much lighter than the sigma.

Springfield gets the blanks for the lower end 1911 from Brazil(Imbel) the higher end frames are made in US. Every once in a while you'd see some milspec's that are US made.

I've owned SA GI and have handled the GI Champion, they are good guns but i would only buy another one if 1, i find a US made one and 2, if i am not planning on altering the gun externally. If you are planning on upgrading the gun then I'd go with the RIA 1911 tactical, I was checking one out a couple of days ago and i must say it was very smooth and had a very good trigger to begin with. It is about as upgraded as a SA Loaded.

buy a 870 , or better yet, buy a tactical 1100

P239 are some of the better Sigs I've dealt with they seem to work and shoot great. All guns have one or more kinds of ammo they don't like, you just found out which one yours don't like. congrads on the gun.

since this has drifted way off topic I added a poll for you guys.

I did not read all the way so if it was mentioned before i do apologize. Starting Nov 15 2008 the new form 4473(fed form) has a section that asks if the address on the ID is not current what other document is used as proof. In Ca we ask for that document to be issued by some sort of a government entity, be it the city, police dept. DMV or what not. I wont expect the guy you dealt with knowing the proper way of dealing with things that is why he was causing so much headache.

How was the trigger on the SR 9? the ones we get in ca have a mag disconnect that does not work but makes the trigger much crappier than is already it probably is.

I have 2 QA's they other day i was playing with an AS and i did like the trigger reset on it super short.After that i want my next p99 to be a 9mm AS. with the HP you can take it to a gun smith and they can do wonders to it, the take up on mine is minimal and the break it very crisp.
