If you want a custom 1911, i'd go with the Hero Gear one, from what i've read and the parts they are using plus the price it seems like a very good deal. caspian frames and fusion slided( i'd have preffered if it was caspian as well) Colts were good, but have you looked at one lately?

That is not a bad price i'd go for it. it is gonna beat your gun up pretty good, +p+. I personally like the Hornady critical defense stuff.

Did not check it on this one, but AIM sometimes has the 1 cent shipping special, I've had cases of ammo shipped to me form them for 1 cent in the past.

Love the stock, Remington 700's are one of the best shooting guns out of the box. as far as the scope goes NF is a good somewhat inexpensive way to go. Luepold makes some really awesome scopes and they have lifetime warranty. I got 3 Leupold's (MK4 LR-t for the 700, VXIII just setting around and FXII on the 10/22) they are very clear and bright scopes. US optics is $$$$$. Burris makes some decent rings, they are no Badgers but hey i got crap Leupolds on mine and they still work.

That email is total BS. I don't own any Glocks( that is a different discussion) but have shot thousands of rounds through Glocks and there never was any problems. People bitching about them not have an external safety need to learn the basics, the operator is the primary safety of the firearms. thus if the operator is compitant there is no need for an exteranl safety.

So over the past month my laptop was broken (culprit is still out there). and the wife is gone, so this past week I was bored and decided to strip this rifle I've had a a few months. It is a Russion M38 imported by Aztec metal is in really good shape. but the wood was in bad shape, lots of dried up cosmo and whatever finish it had. Did not have the proper facilities to do everything. It came out better than i had expected. the wood was really blonde, so i decided not to stain it and instead let Tru-Oil do the trick of darken it a bit. here for your viewing pleasure.

I think it is a decent deal, not a big fan of Fobus, so for me if it was a blackhawk it would be worth it, I'd say somewhere around $550. Just MHO.

Can't think of any, when i first bought my Walther p99c i did not like the trigger, but now i like it alot, it shoots great.

Remingotn 1100 for semi, and 870 for pump.

Don't have MKIII (MKII's are my bag) but the Volquertsen accurising kit does wonders, makes MKIII's shoot better than SW41. Check out Safarilands mini red-dot comes with different bases (seperate) and fits on Mk's 10/22's AR's and shotguns. for grip i use Hogue, just pain jane one works fine for me, no need for thumb rest.

Mosberg 930 runs about 6 and some change, I'd go for a used 1100, i have seen them running under 300.
