Have you looked at Americas Army? America's Army Official Website I haven't tried the new AA3, but old one was kinda fun.

People pay for the account due to the level of the characters associated with the account. Some people would rather spend $$$ for someone elses character than spend the time leveling their own characters. Course...seasoned players can spot these newbs a mile away, hehe. I have a 80 Druid and a 74 Paladin...days of my life lost.

I'm actually just taking the Basic Handgun class, which I believe is seperate from the CCW class. With having no experience with handguns at all, I was hoping to maybe rent a .22 revolver and a .22 pistol from CCA for the class, and then see what I liked. From there I can rent larger calibers until I figure out what I'm comfortable with. Once I figure that out, I'm sure I'll be as addicted as the rest of you, and shopping for my own gun in no time! Evening all, Just wanted to say "Hi". I have only recently become interested in guns, looking forward to my Basic Handgun class at Coal Creek on 8/27 (those classes fill up quick!). Just spent 4 days at Holly Flats Camp Ground in the Cherokee NF, it was really nice. Hiked around 10 miles (round trip) to the Bald River Falls. No potable water there anymore though, so be careful, glad we had our backpacking water filter.
