  1. First day of med school, we all had to stand up and introduce ourselves. For some reason, one of my classmates decided to announce to the whole room that he had a vasectomy the previous week. I do not understand pride involved in that.
  2. I do not reload, but I think the only step program you need is however many steps there are to reload. I am thinking about a 6 or 7 step program. You can call it the abriviated12 step program.
  3. Coolest vanity plate I have ever seen. Beats the helloutta the manitee plate or whatever that fish one is.
  4. The only other people I feel obligated to protect are my family and any close friends that might be with me. Otherwise, the sheep can protect theirselves. I went to class, I got finger printed, I paid the fee, I bought the gun, I go to the range, and I did it for me. Trying to be a hero by protecting other people is not an obligation; it can be very foolish and has great potential to put you in very bad situations.
  5. I hope this is not a bluff. Everytime I think about what is going on in our country, I get angered. I only hope people will still remember at election time. Should be interesting.
  6. Just what we need, another damn yankee. I am just kidding with you. Welcome to Tennessee. I hope you like it, we all do.
  7. The best solution to all of your problems is just do not work. Then you can do whatever you want. I would not know anything about that. I am a student, and therefore unarmed for a majority of the day.
  8. I have never used them, but that seems like a good price. I know people that have used expedia with no problems.
  9. Flying into McGhee Tyson can be expensive. If you have a friend that can pick you up in Nashville or Atlanta, that woud be the way to go. I fly fairly often, and for my travel needs, Southwest is the best deal for me. They should have a direct flight from Orlando to Nashville for less than $100. If you watch them, they usually run sales from time to time, and you might be able to get one for close to $50. If you do purchase a ticket and the price does go down after that, they will refund the difference, so just be mindful of that. As far as security, wear shoes that are easily removable, tell your girlfriend not to wear a bunch of metal jewlry, leave the rodeo championship buckle at home, no liquids over three ounces, no blades, and no pointy things. Computers are fine, just be prepared to take it out of the case to go through the x-ray machine. Generally, I try to empty my pockets in my carry-on bag before going through security. That way, I just run my bag through the machine, and I do not have to worry about putting all the junk in my pockets while people are waiting behind me. It is really not a big deal. If you do not know what you are supposed to do, just ask the guy with the turban on his head.
  10. Go to Toliver's Pawn Shop in Manchester. It is there on the square. Tell them what you are doing and what you can spend. They have the best prices of anyone around, and the guys are helpful. They stay pretty busy, so just be patient until you get helped.
  11. Is that rd loaded backward? I used worked with a guy that would load his backward for some reason. I do not remember why.
  12. This could be the start of the only "change" I am looking for.
  13. I do not have an iPhone, but if I did, I would be getting one that is water resistant. It is amazing how many times I have dropped my phones in various water sources.
  14. Saiga 7.62 7.62x39 Rifle $329.00 Buy Now AK47 : Semi-auto at GunBroker.com This is from some place in GA.
  15. I have a Ruger Mk III that my girlfriend took her carry test with. The only problem for her is that it was too heavy for her to shoot much with out getting tired of holding it up. I never thought about this, but for a small lady, I guess it is kinda heavy holding it out there. If you go with the Ruger, you might should think about getting the tapered barrel rather than the bull barrel. I really like my Ruger, but my girlfriend likes her friend's Walther P22 better because of the weight issue.
  16. Have you talked to your manager of the meat department at the local store? Usually, most place can order you what you want if they do not have it in stock. You might have to plan ahead a little bit, but at least it will be fresh. My parents order steaks from Omaha Steaks. They are not like fresh cut or anything, but they are dang good steaks. You might want to check them out too.
  17. That is awesome. The video review with the indian (feathers) girl is great.
  18. The only way I would ever get rid of that gun is if someone stole it. I think you would disappointed if you traded it.
  19. I am kinda thinking about getting a 7.62 as well. I saw somebody on TGO mention a Saiga 7.62. It seems like for the money, you cannot beat them. They are not a true AK, as in they do not accept AK parts, but they have the same design. For something to just shoot 7.62, they seem like a good option. I did a quick price search and found a new one on gunbroker for $329. Chrome barrel, synthetic stock, descent reviews. Could be worth having.
  20. You can easily drive the car without the clutch disengaging. Shifting in and out of first is a bit tricky, but between gears is not bad. You have to find the right rpm for the speed and gear such that you are pushing the car under power, nor is the compression of the engine braking the car. Typically, if you drive conservatively, when it comes time to shift, ease off the gas with applying a gentle pressure to the shifter, it will slip out of gear. Then feather the gas, and it will fall into the next gear. This is one way to conserve what life you have left in your clutch while you are trying to get it fixed.
  21. B. I struggle with this a little bit, but I lean to the idea that world could use at least one less criminal. Therefore, running them off with the click clack would be a little counter productive.
  22. Mossberg 500 combo in a 12 ga. I did not like it, so I traded it for an old beater truck. I do not have the truck either, but if I had my choice, I would still rather have the truck. I just did not like the Mossberg, but it was a combo and ecconomical. I am much more attched to an 870 28ga that I bought for my father to shoot clays with. He is not able to shoot any more, but that will be my child's first shotgun barring that it gets stolen or something.
  23. Check the hydrolic level for the clutch. Should be a reservoir on the firewall. Make sure you are not checking the brake fluid. I do not mean to insult you, but I do not know how much you know. If the level is low, add fluid to it. You can just use brake fluid. You may need to bleed the system as well if the fluid is indeed low. It is basically the same procedure as bleeding brake, but you will need another person if you do it the old fashion way without the little bleeder tool thing, whatever that is called. I do not know about adjusting hydrolic clutches once they are installed, but I do not think you have to do that. I never have.
