The anti's comments would be funny if they were not serious. It is amazing how irrational these people can be.

Don't forget the other two items you should always have with your gun and spare mag; a good flashlight and your cell phone. These items should go hand in hand with your gun. Anytime you think about grabbing your gun for a bump in the night, your second and third thoughts should be flashlight and phone. I hope you enjoy your new purchase.

I got this in an email today. I cried laughing at it, so I thought I would share it with you all. I guess I should make it clear that I have no interest in the sale of this vehicle. 2002 Focus – good reliable first car 2002 Focus – good reliable first car - $2000 (Cape Girardeau) Date: 2010-04-01, 10:33PM CDT Reply to: sale-fm8x7-1672654758@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?] Looking for a first car for a teen? This car is absolutely brilliant. It’s got low mileage (68k), has been super reliable, and is excellent on gas. Since you’re likely paying for the gas, this will make things much cheaper on you. I average like 37MPG to a tank. And with such low mileage, it’ll work great for a long long time. But you wanna know the best reason to buy this car for your kid? It’s slow as ****. You don’t have to worry about speeding tickets or accidents in this baby. Your kid could have a 1 mile run and hit a brick wall not wearing a seatbelt and not be going fast enough to do ****. And there won’t be any sense in him getting some ****ty ass fart can off of eBay – this car has the super slow SPI engine, no sense in trying to make it any faster. It’s a 4-door, so your kid won’t try to put gay ass Lambo doors on it. It is still possible to fit this with a body kit, but if you’d like, for an extra $200, I can stab him in the face if he does this. It’s a 5-speed, so your kid can’t talk on his cell phone while playing Gameboy and smoking pot – he’ll have to actually pay attention. It also means you won’t have to pay for an automatic transmission when your kid beats the hell out of it. It’s got a new clutch and new tires, so you’ll know if he does burnouts. After all, I’m sure YOU’RE the one paying for tires, right? It’s got an aftermarket head unit in it, so your kid won’t **** it up when him and his buddies try to wire in a “phat ass system”. It’s already had the speakers replaced too, so he won’t have to tear the door cards on and then look like a retard when he can’t get them back on. It’s got manual windows too, so he can’t **** up the window motors when he rolls one of his friends heads up in it as a joke. A new battery means when he leaves his headlights on, it won’t leave you totally stranded. But really though, one of the best parts is that, because it is a 4 door, it will be somewhat embarrassing for him to be seen in. I’m sure you get pissed at him from time to time. Hell, you’re probably mad at him for harassing you into buying him a first car. So get this one. It has no A/C, so you’ll know he’s suffering every time you get mad at him. Pretty satisfying. It’ll bring a smile to your face too, to know he’s rolling around looking like a ****** in a Ford Focus. So buy this car for your kid. You won’t regret it Contact: 573-334-4363 Location: Cape Girardeau it's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests PostingID: 1672654758

I have a Mark III, and I was pleasently surprised as well when I stripped mine for the first time. It is the hardest gun I have to completely strip and clean, but it was not as bad as I was expecting it to be. As far as the technical comment, I am sure that is not true. My friend is not technically minded at all, probably less than anyone I know, and he can strip his with no problem. Therefore, I am not sure the correlation is as strong as you think it is.

Mine is an old name I had for a different account, and I have just stuck with it. It was because at that point in time, one of my vehicles was an '82 Datsun truck. Put them together and drop the "un" = dats82

I would not worry about printing at all. At best, someone might see a little bump. Most people are not going to make the jump from bump to gun. As for it showing, if you carry at like about 4 o'clock, your jacket would really have to flap open something crazy for it to be seen. Even if your jacket flapped open a bit, with an IWB holster, over half of it is still covered. Short of it is, I would not waste my time worrying, nor would I spend my money on something that is worthless in my opinion. I think your set-up is good and you will have no problem.

Thanks man, I guess I need to do a little research. They have been busted for about a year, so I can spare some time to do some research.

$50 maybe, I really do not know if anything could be had at that price. Like I said I know nothing about this stuff. I do not want to go super cheap, but I am also not worried about getting the best stuff there is either.

This is really off topic, but I figured some folks on here might could help me out. I have a 2002 Chevrolet Z71 that is in need of some new front door speakers. I know nothing about car audio stuff, so I am looking for some advice regarding which speakers may be better than others. I am not looking for top of the line stuff; just something that will produce good sound at a reasonable price. Thanks for the help.

Surely you know pics are mandatory!

I was living in Knoxville a few years back, and was coming up Chapman Hwy. The short of it is is that I was in the left lane, a car was passing me in the right lane, and we topped a hill, and met a trooper head on. He pulled me over and asked the usual questions. He said I was doing 83 in a 50. I told him I did not even drive that fast on the interstate, but I did not deny speeding, I just said I was not going that fast. I asked him if he did not see the car in the right lane passing me. He acknowledged that he did observe that, but then proceded to write me a ticket. I was dumbfounded. I went to court thinking the judge would be more sensible. I do not think I could have been more wrong. This was the first time I had ever been pulled over for speeding, much less ever gotten a ticket. I was 21 at the time. The judge made me pay the ticket, pay the court cost, and do 16 hrs of community service. On the bright side, I did learn something from the great lecture the judge gave me.

Have you been to the west coast? I am not much of a city person, but there are some really nice areas around San Francisco. You can often find fairly cheap flights from Nashville out there on Southwest. If you do make it out there, check out Monterey Bay and of course wine country is not too far away either. The weather is usually great during the summer.

I do not understand the video that goes with it. Is this just something that was put with the audio to show that this guy is a fool or what?

I have never heard of pig brains and eggs, though I am not suprised. Talk about an immediate heart attack. I guess the only thing that could make it worse would be to scramble it all in with the bacon grease. That does sound kinda appealing talking about it. I might have to try that. Maybe throw some of this in for good measure. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Hl5bQduRAMc/SESz5gJ38lI/AAAAAAAAA4o/luvwDM3nL3g/s400/liver_mush2.JPG

Most Dangerous States In America (Tennessee Ranked 5th)
dats82 replied to TMMT's topic in General Chat
I guess the 'boro is getting kinda rough too these days. Seems like everytime I watch the news they are talking about crimes in Murfreesboro as much as they are in Nashville. I am sure it is not just as bad, but it seems like crime has gotten worse. -
That would be great if that were the case here as well.

I particularly enjoyed the bumper stickers in the gun cabinet.

Go for it man. The cops that I had dealings with at UT were pretty cool. I do not think you would "get in trouble." You might get hassled from the more liberal students, but I do not think anything will come from officials. Just make sure you have nothing on you or in your vehicle that would be problematic. You might want to take a quick glance at the student handbook to make sure everything clears there. Where I go to school now, we are not even supposed to have a pocket knife, so make sure you will not encounter problems like that.

He can be voted out.

I have an NAA .22 mini mag in my pocket right now. All you people can dog the .22, but the reality of it is that the majority of criminals are going to turn around and go the other way regardless of what is popping at them. Although it is not what I usually choose the carry, the way I figure it, I am probably going to be close enough for a head shot if I use it, so either way, .22 or .45 they will stop.

If you are looking for sight seeing suggestions, In my opinion, Arlington is the most somber experience to be had. The Smithsonian and Holocaust Museum are both very much were your time as well.

Doctor say's Go elsewhere for healthcare
dats82 replied to Hgunner's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
LOL Love it. I do commend the doctor for making a stand. However, as the article says, this is on the fringe with the ethics junk. There will be people who will most certainly try to grill his ass over this. Those people will most likely be people who are not nor were ever his patients. He will face repercussions over this, but we all know repercussions are coming regardless. He is really in a damned if you do, damned if you don't spot now. With all that said, he does have my support regardless of what the libs have to say about it. -
