  1. Hitting www.tngunowners.com/forums, started yesterday for me.
  2. Anyone else having a problem logging in? Up till yesterday it always "remembered" me, now I have to type in username and password every time I access the site?.
  3. I think it makes a difference how many casings one is working at the time. I normally do lots of 1000, and that ends up doing 250 cases on .223 each batch. Using a spray lube, I will get some in case mouths, wiping with a rag, while it will remove the lube from the outside, is time consuming, and tumbling them after sizing gets all the lube off the outside and out of the case mouth, where it can tend to hang powder, especially the ball variety. The after sizing/lube removing tumble does not have to run long, and it results in ready to load brass.
  4. At least we have a few in Congress willing to call the hand of the Administration on what appears on the face of it, to be criminal activity on the part of public employees e.g. facilitating the transfer of weapons to know criminals. May not be a "real" investigation in your eyes, but at least it is getting looked into instead of being summarily swept under the rug with no scrutiny.
  5. Interested parties contacting members of the "Task force" to inquire about their intents and the timing of planned activities resulted in this reply from one, paraphrased, with a sprinkling of direct quotations: Session is 6 months away, what is the rush? "Most legislators (and everyone else) are traveling and getting caught up on our real jobs since we are out of Session... most of these things don't start until the fall." John F. Kennedy speaking on "Time" related this quip:
  6. If one has a problem with the current NRA, they should make sure their level of support is such that they are a voting member, and get together with other voting members of like concern, put forward candidates for Directorships and see to it that they get elected. Like anything else, the individual will get out of it what they put into it. I have disagreements with some of their positions and practices, but try and make a difference from the INSIDE. It is OUR organization, and on the National scene, it is the preeminent voice of America's gun owners. Like Warbird, I support different Pro-gun groups, both on a State and Federal level, but it is a fact that none has the status of the NRA. Every gun grabbing group, from those "Progressives" in Congress, the Brady Bunch, Mayors Against Illegal Guns to the local bleeding-hearts All cuss the NRA.
  7. Have to wonder about a dog named "Cocaine"? Looks like the dead guy was not the dog's owner, evidently he did not have the best of neighbors either.
  8. Can't stand the Rings movies, they are so far outside the books that it is painful to watch, for me anyway. The same kind of changing of the original gist as say a Clancy movie that switches up the antagonist from Muslims to Irish to be "politically correct".
  9. When you pay attention to the formation of "Rural councils" under the UN's Agenda 21, this article takes on even more significance.
  10. Federal Government will simply withhold funds, there will be no fisticuffs.
  11. The ATF should know, they have illegal down pretty well!

  15. The sale of guns from person to person without passing through a FFL is one of the things they are most adamant about getting set up.
  16. This might just be the breach that opens up the dam. Holder can be compelled to give testimony, and with the scrutiny that has been focused and the facts put forth, his time in the witness chair could be very uncomfortable. 17. Barack Obama on Gun Control A view of the current President's actions in his tenure as an Illinois Senator. Does not seem that he was any more inclined to support Natural rights to self protection back then, as he is now. Obama Nation, by Jerome Corsi, p.241-242 Aug 1, 2008:

  19. No I do not, my point all along is that regardless of what laws are in place, if the enforcers do not abide by whatever the criteria is, nothing is accomplished. Plenty of laws already there, but, if the Sheriff's Dept. got calls about him making death threats, they should have acted in some other capacity than to tell his intended victims that it was all cool. I am against the Federal Gov. being involved at all, I think it should be a State making those decisions.
