1.   Our legislators know the difference in good bills and bad ones.  HB 0009 is the only one that falls under the good category, the rest are not even remotely Citizen 2nd Amendment/Firearms supportive measures. Basically same thing as TSA making you safer at airports, if you believe this. NRA had nothing to do with any of it, this was all decided with Fed Ex and Volkswagen before start of session.
2.   If it was singed on the 25th, it became law on the 25th.

4. It is coming up on an election year.  Noticeable that most of the more Liberal leaning Commissioners left the room prior to the actual vote, so that they would not be on the record as having voted against the 2nd Amendment. (Charmian Ritz included, after his down the nose tirade against anything firearms).   Slimy, no spined bunch of bad actors in my opinion.   There was an offering by the Sheriff's Dept. related to reworking their firing range, taking it down from a 50 point range to 35 points, but adding some classroom space and getting it up out of the flood.  They got challenged pretty bad, and told to go ask the Memphis Police Dept., if they could not use their range instead...   Interesting to watch the maneuvering.  A few staunch Conservatives and a lot of other types.  Very similar to the State legislature.
5. I ordered a full dressed 650XL February 18, got the case feed in about 3 weeks, conversions (all except the .30 carbine) in five weeks, been 9 weeks now, still have not seen the press...
6.     Would rather have him as POTUS, less time for damage (if I am going to be force fed).  I just think the powers that put Obama in office will never settle for Hillary, they will try and put a like minded fleck of the same substance in to finish the destruction. I normally give you credence for well thought out deductive reasoning, but the girls I run around with tell me that Holder has the inside track.
7.   Fact, not truer words were ever posted on TGO.    My parents have a Restraining Order issued against the next door neighbors, by the Chancery Court Judge, and there are all kind of incidents of them harassing my aged Father and Mother, I have given copies of video to the Sheriff and still nothing is done.  Says he nor his staff can arrest the neighbors if LE personally does not witness the bad acts.
8. You are correct, like 65% of the sitting legislators.   You are correct again, mostly.
9. Nah, Hillary is not nearly radicalized enough for the REAL Progressives, Eric Holder is your next President.
10. If you were close to Bells...
11. The more convoluted and triplicate paper-worked this administration can make the path for a run of the mill law abiding citizen to wrap their fingers around a firearm or ammunition, the better they like it.   Nobody is paying attention, dang few care, too busy.
12. I was privileged to be asked to testify at the Shelby County Commissioner's meeting on Tuesday, along with fellow TFA members Kenny Crenshaw and David Mixon to advocate for their 2nd Amendment Support Resolution. During the testimony, I was impressed with the comments, questions and support of the issue from Commissioners Terry Rowland (Sponsor), Heidi Shafer (Girl on Fire for the 2nd Amendment), Wyatt Bunker and Chris Thomas. Not so much with Chairman Mike Ritz, who was condescending and insulting of the 2nd Amendment, and very Brian Kelseyish in his display of disdain for anyone who would ask the Commission to "waste its time" on such frivolity as seeking to support the 2nd Amendment in an environment so fraught with dangers and attempts to weaken it. He intimated that the State's Attorney General had issued an opinion decrying the Resolution "Unconstitutional", which is of course a bold faced lie. I believe that this individual has decided to join the ESTABLISHMENT RINO's Club, as he exhibits all the traits of what I at least consider that ilk to be. Chairman Steve Mulroy was as non supportive as Ritz, but at least Mr. Mulroy is an honest liberal, and his dissertation of how bad the Resolution was, how it was rendered moot by the Supremacy Clause could be understood, and was simply grounded in a failure to understand the facts and functions of our Republic, but at least it lacked the mean spirited venomous approach of Chairman Ritz.   The Resolution passed out of committee, and will be on the agenda for consideration this coming Monday, April 29, 2013.
13. One theory is that government hates liberty as liberty precludes the need for government. Another would be that government desires to be of use to its citizens and all its actions are necessary. Which is simpler?
14. Questions posed to the State regarding this issue has resulted in them taking down Item #4.  Web site is completely wrong in its assertion now.   http://www.tn.gov/environment/parks/policies.shtml#firearmshttp://www.tn.gov/environment/parks/policies.shtml#firearms
15.   The Sheriff's Association is the group that has the legislator's balls in the palm of their hand.  Remember two years ago, they got the legislature to pass a bill requiring anyone who runs for Sheriff has to be a Post Certified LEO PRIOR to running for office, in effect creating a lifetime certification for each County Sheriff to stay in that job until such time as they want to retire, and changing 200+ years of the County Sheriff being a political office instead of a hereditary fiefdom. In all my time on the Hill, I have never seen a group that scares the legislators more than the Sheirff's Association.
16. They have a mass of shootings every weekend in Chicago....
17. That is gracious, and I am honored.  Thought sometimes I feel like I am spinning my wheels, I just can not let go and quit.   Alexander is going to be at the Madison County Regan Day Dinner, I intend to "instruct" him in so far as I can.
18. I will see him Saturday night, will pass on your thanks at that point...
19. You are hiking in a State Park, and are approached by an individual (or group) who threatens to do you harm if you do not comply with their wishes.  You avail yourself of your Right of self defense and that individual (or group) is expired when you alert authorities.  Out on a trail, no witnesses, how do you prove self defense?   My reading of the "Policy" is that the Citizen is guilty until they somehow can prove their innocence.
20. Did not say this particular piece of clap trap in the form published provided universal background checks, said that is what they are espousing, and I think that is an accurate statement.
21.   You are operating under the premise that they actually think, well, at least as we do, with our brains.  They actually think with their pocketbooks and bank accounts, and are attuned only to the siren's song of lobbyist sung in the bilingual language of Politicians, Republicrat.  Better known as Cha-ching.
