I found this quote on, of all places, a Fark thread. Did a little googling and it seems that this quote is from an article in American Handgunner.

I have an M&P 9mm full size but I won't be attending the eat and shoot. I live up in Springfield, but I work in Nashville. If you and your wife would like to meet me at a range somewhere after work one day she would be more than welcome to try it out.

If I used tannerite on my own property the mess would be for me to clean up or leave depending on if I felt like cleaning it up that day. On any other property the mess would be cleaned up when I was done. But man o man would it be worth it.

Why not? It'd be a blast.

I'm gonna go against the grain and say that I disagree about a women's only sub-forum. Various reasons, one of which is because I don't think we need to segregate ourselves that way.

I would say that it did save his life. Not could have saved his life. I believe that is what it means. Remember, it's better to "secure" the kids to keep them safe than it is to let them run. Heaven help us all.

I'm not a ballistics expert or even a gun expert, but I would think that shot placement and velocity (i.e. long-gun) matters much more than the difference between 9mm and .45.

Instead of trying to hurt someones business by taking over the dining area. Why not find a restaraunt to help. Find one that doesn't server alcohol and have the HCP holders gather there. Give our money to that business and invite the media. I know for a fact that the Catfish House is Springfield, TN is NOT posted and they do NOT serve alcohol. Just an idea, but I think this would have a more positive effect than a "sit in".

I love how labs think they are small enough to be "lap dogs" though.

I took my HCP course at Guns & Leather and we also had a couple of people like you describe. It really sobers you when you realize that there are people out there carrying a loaded gun who have NO idea how to use it safely or hell, just plain use it. In my opinion it's akin to letting someone who's never driving before get behind the wheel out on the interstate.

Big black dogs rule! Ok, so mine isn't really all that big at 58lbs. The biggest danger she poses is to small kids. When she walks by them here tail has a tendency to knock them on their butt.

I guarantee that sooner or later another thread or comment will irk you. You just have to decide if the bad outweighs the good at TGO. My opinion is that the good FAR outweighs the bad here. This is definitely one of the better forums on the internet.

More importantly though is if customers are still allowed to BYOB?
