  1. Amen. I can't believe that anyone can actually look up at the stars and think we are the only ones.
  2. I have a great deal of respect for the Office of the President of the United States. I have zero respect for Obama.
  3. Doh! Ya, I did forget about him! I was thinking that Ford was the last one.
  4. Your confusing respect of the Office of the President with a personal respect of Obama. Not. The. Same.
  5. He'll be the first 1 term president in 35 years. That's gotta count for something, right?
  6. I know it's against the law, I just don't agree with it. People need to learn to not be offended so easily. That's one of big problems I see with our society today.
  7. The sex registry is one of those things that I completely disagree with. You commit the crime, you do the time. That's what I learned in school. What happened to "Paying your debt to society" and then moving on with your life? It's rather hard to move on when you are punished for the rest of your life. If these people are so dangerous to society then why are they released from prison in the first place! Once they have served their time that should be the end of their punishment. And why are the so called "sex crimes" worse than other crimes? Where is the Murderer Registry or Violent Offender Registry. Perhaps a DUI registry as well. And while we are at it let's get a Jaywalking Registry.
  8. Pissing outside is not, in any way, sexual let alone a sex crime. Whether it is in front of someone (adult OR child) or not. The idea that accidently seeing somebody elses genitalia automatically means they should be convicted of a sex crime is absolutely ridiculous.
  9. Good news for a Friday afternoon!
  10. Trust me I feel your pain. If you can get it running at all you might be able to use a fuel cleaner to clean the rest of it out. I'm not a mechanic or even very mechanically inclined so if anyone else has some ideas then please chime in.
  11. This happened to a Honda Rancher that I had years ago. The carburetor ended up having to be cleaned in order to get it to run right.
  12. I always use Sta-Bil if I have something that's going to be sitting for more than a month. It hasn't let me down yet. *edit* Gas will basically turn to varnish if left untreated.
  13. The window stickers and roadside crosses have always seemed trashy and pointless to me. It sucks that you lost a loved one, but If I wanted to read the obituaries I would buy a paper.
  14. /shakes tiny little fist at Glockmeister

    Wal-Mart....wtf

That's a little over the top.
  17. IMO, the selling and trading of firearms is not the main focus of TGO.
  18. I always make sure that the firearm and ammunition are locked up separately and that both are inaccessible to my wife and I. If you are just passing through Chicago then you should be covered by federal law. NRA-ILA ::
  19. And that's why my happy butt is gonna sit at home if there is any amount of snow over 1" or so. I grew up in IL and am no stranger to snow, but people around here just freak out at the first sign of a snow flake. It's like everyone thinks they're going to be snowed in for a week or two straight! Oh, and at the first sign of a snow flake falling to the earth everyone suddenly forgets how to drive.
  20. Wouldn't the best solution be for your friend to carry? That way there's no question about owners agent or such.
  21. You should try it on Hardcore Deathmatch.
  22. I keep mine by the bed with the chamber empty and the safety off. If there's any disturbance inside the house and I need to get armed quickly the first thing I'm reaching for is my .357 revolver and my Surefire flashlight. The shotgun is used as a backup to the revolver, to check something outside or to clear the house.
  23. The ACR in MW2 is pretty awesome.
  24. First time I've seen that. Thought it was hilarious!
  25. I have a 0.77 K/D ratio and rising, a 11.8% accuracy and about 4 days of game play so far.
