  1. Thanks guys!  It doesn't look like i can tell the exact year it was made, just the range 1912-1932.
  2. The barrel is stamped: Browning Patent 12 Ga Proof Tested On the receiver end of the barrel it is stamped: W W P T 25996 T The receiver is stamped: RIVER xxxxxx <--can't read that part CHICOPEE FALLS MASS U.S.A
  3. The penalty for failing to obtain a permit: What's the penalty for failing to obtain the proper permit? In addition to any other penalty imposed for failure to obtain a permit, where construction of any work, for which a permit is required, is commenced before a permit is issued, the permit fees shall be tripled. (Refer to Metro Code of Laws, Section 16.28.130.)
  4. Excellent responses all around! I wonder if your car insurance will cover your carry weapon if it is damaged during the accident? I may have to call my agent and ask him.
  5. You probably do NOT have 3 stages of heat. You've probably got the compressor and electric heat backup. If you have electric auxilliary heat then it will go like this: HP T-Stat R Rc, R G G O O/B W1 Aux W2 N/A Y Y C C The extra terminals on the t-stat (E & L) aren't used.
  6. I have a revolver on my nightstand and my carry is a M&P9. My thinking on the revolver is that if I am woken from a dead sleep I want something that I can just point and shoot. No jams to worry about. Simple. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
  7. There is no requirement to inform an officer that you have a carry permit or whether you are armed or not. That being said, it's a good idea to inform them since they will find out anyway when they run your dl. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
  8. That had me laughing so hard that I could hardly tell my wife why I was laughing hysterically.
  9. Sorry to hear the news Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
  10. It was the unions that improved working conditions.

    Mileage?

    16k miles since May. I average 30k-40k a year.
  12. I got some bad news for you.....If you are used to gas heat then the discharge air from an air cooled heat pump will always feel cold even when it is heating.
  13. I should have added a smiley or something. There was supposed to have been a large does of sarcasm in my post.:rolleyes: The only reason that the mosque "has" to be that close to ground zero is that they really do believe it's some kind of victory over the United States.
  14. The "victory" was by extremists so why would the mainstream Muslims want to build a mosque near ground zero so bad?....
  15. I consistently got around 60k-70k with Firestone Wilderness A/T.
  16. I got one of these to put on my key chain, and I can't tell you how many times it has come in handy.
  17. So it sounds like you can carry concealed, unless the ranger decides otherwise. If they do decide to enforce it, what are the penalties? I am planning on going backcountry camping there this fall and would like to take my firearm, but not at the expense of 5 years in the federal pen.
  18. Between the temperatures being perfect, the leaves changing color, the smell of said leaves burning and wood fires burning, Fall is my favorite time of year.
  19. I typically just have the magazine in the pistol. I have plans for the semi-near future to increase that to a couple of mags and a rifle to be kept in my vehicle.

    SHTF

So you would kill your neighbor so that her rape and murder don't happen to close to your own home for your peace of mind???
  21. Not really. Don't let the post count fool ya. I lurk like no ones business.
  22. 400 posts in 3 years.....I got ya beat.
  23. Generators and vehicles are a great short term solution, but for any extended power outage you will want something that doesn't depend on a hard to get fuel source. (gas, diesel, etc.) This solar panel and portable refrigerator setup looks like it will take care of your needs. I think this setup will end up costing $300-$500 though. 24. I'm totally stealing that for my sig line.
  25. That a little more than "graphic". That's more like "What has been seen can not be unseen and you WILL regret clicking on this link"
