  1. I am wondering, since he was charged, if he was attempting to pass and not going opposite direction which could also explain why the car driver was injured, she was turning left as he was passing so he struck her drivers door. I have no idea and do not know that area at all, just subjective wondering.
  2. I have never handled a Century, but they (century) have a lot of quality control issues, but I do have a Hesse arms H91 which is another Cetme pattern and I have had zero problems or complaints about mine. I think I would look it over very carefully before committing to it.
  3. Not positive, but think that's a galil.
  4. I have a Masterbilt Electric 30" that I love, I got it for around 200 at lowes.
  5. Make sure it's not soldered or pinned (most aren't) but could also be rocksett. I have never had to remove on with rocksett, but I am to the understanding that heat helps.
  6. I only have internet and can find NO reason for the additional. Might just call them and tell them I will go else where. Any one know who else has fast internet in the Nashville area?
  7. And I was mad about my $9 extra!! WOW
  8. I am picturing someone trying to explain to the police that it's only a pellet rifle, then getting arrested. Looks like trouble waiting to happen.
  9. I think it's funny that the picture they used for an AR-15 shows the selector in the full auto position. Hmmm, trying to imply something?
  10. It does not have to be longer, you just have to be able to return the rifle to original registered configuration. ie... you are can it registered as a .30 cal 8" barrel and also have a 4" .22. Just don't get rid of the one that its made with, or at least same size. Also in caliber, they are looking for the size of the bullet not cartridge. so a .300 aac blackout would be registered as a .30 cal. Hope this helps.
  11. #1 is just out side murfreesboro on highway 238 I think it's called the Walterhill area.
  12. I'm sorry but I can neither confirm nor deny any such equipment.
  13. From my experience, the most common reason for a 300 black out to not lock back on last round is gas port misalignment. Are you using a 16 inch barrel with a carbine length gas system? most frustrating setup there is.
  14. umm you do realize the magazine has to be inserted for it to lock back?
  15. Thanks Garufa. Had no idea.
  16. Buddy showed me this cartridge and I honestly have no idea what it is. Any ideas?
  17. Why not just build your upper? That way it can be exactly what you want.
  18. Where are you thinking about starting from?
  19. http://qualitymachineandtorchrepair.com/ I think that is who he meant.
  20. I am guessing a PKM.
  21. Now that is funny!!!
  22. I got over a bad flinch by shooting a few magazines slowly while watching the front sight for the muzzle flash. Guess I was blinking too soon, but watched my groups shrink dramatically afterwards. Just a thought for new shooters too.
  23. I don't believe undercharged cases can explode. What can happen is a bullet can become lodged in the barrel (squib) and subsequent rounds if fired can burst the barrel. That being said, I doubt you are in that much danger with the load stated. It's not that much below recommended starting load.
  24. Sorry it's a little expensive for this poor boy.
  25. Thanks for all the reply's everyone. Gave me lots of good info to think about.
