  1. I know they moved the BATFE from the IRS to DOJ but in truth they are still a revenue agency. Why are they allowed police powers? That seems a awful lot like a conflict of interest.
  2. From what I read at cast boolits, a typical 5 gallon bucket weighs around 135 lbs and will produce around 105 to 110 lbs of lead so you are right there at normal.

    Weatherby

I need some help, I have a Weatherby super varmint master in .308 win and I have been trying to find out what rate of twist the barrel has. This is no longer in production and the barrel was manufactured by criterion so I can't go by normal weatherby barrels. So does anyone know the barrel twist or a email address that I can contact weatherby at to get the information? Thanks for any help.
  4. never mind. issue taken care of.
  5. I have heard good things about him. Where is his shop?
  6. nrange - Home Try that. I think that is the place you are looking for.
  7. I think it boils down to a simple definition of "belief". that is something that can not be proven so a person believes it to be so, and yet the "other side" can be right at the same time. Which is why I almost never participate in those discussions, most people can't state what they believe to be true or right and accept that someone else can have a different opinion and walk away, someone HAS to be right so then it gets heated. Cheer up people, its just a "belief". Billy
  8. Isn't Chick-fila closed for the holiday?
  9. One thing that helped me get over the flinch is to make sure you always see the muzzle flash when the round goes off. Harder than it sounds but GREATLY improves your grouping.
  10. I stand gladly corrected.
  11. I don't know for sure, but I get the impression that it is "membership" only. ie. you have to buy a year at a time. Hope I am wrong.
  12. don't feel bad, to be honest I had to work it out myself the first time I saw it.

  14. That was probably "Real Flight" software. I have a slightly older version which works great, I just can't seem to get the hang of the helicopters. I can do fixed wing just fine, but seem to have a mental block with the copters.
  15. I have a small basic Blade mcx one of those twin axial copters only thing I am prepared to try after miserable attempts on the simulator! LOL
  16. Cause of many "electrical" fires.
  17. I have a fluke and regularly get stray readings like that. I think its the current load on the neutral line but I am NO expert.
  18. Does any one make a true silencer for .22s any more? I used to have one years ago but let it get away.
  19. Thanks for all the votes, but I have to wonder, did I win or lose? LOL
  20. I looked up the law on scanners once about 13-14 years ago and (then) the law basically said you are free to listen to a scanner all you want where ever you want as long as you are not using it to aid in the commission of a crime.
  21. Its a shame you are so far away, I have one and would be more than happy to let you shoot it. If you ever get up around Nashville let me know. Its not a tack driver, but for what its for, (battle rifle, bug out, home defence...) its more than adequate.
  22. Not trying to stir things up, but as I understand it. Long guns may be purchased out of state but MUST only be purchased from a dealer. Hand guns or purchases must be transfered to an in-state ffl and transfered to you. Clear as mud?
  23. #4 is a Springfield Armory Bi-tone light weight model. .45 auto.
