  1. I was attempting to reply to a post about carry prohibition at Loveless cafe and received a message that I didn't have sufficiant privledges to post. Is something wrong with my account? Or hopefully just a snafu? Thanks for the help.
  2. Thats where I spend most of my time.
  3. I am thinking she heard of a ruling and didn't fully understand it, or is just an idiot.
  4. Now that's funny!
  5. Dang, I think I need to be your friend! LOL
  6. Hi Larry, I live in Hendersonville, in sumner county and I see people semi regularly open carry.
  7. I wonder what would be the outcome of taking a case like this to scotus based on discrimination to small business. You have to have a store to get an ffl but you have to have a lot of capital to get the store, pretty much impossible to start part time business and grow it.
  8. I think this is great idea and will attend as long as I am logistically able to. Should have 17 cousin in from out of state and will drag her along, think she will enjoy too.
  9. If the barrel is only 16 inches to the end of the flash suppressor, then yes it must be permantly attached or registered as a short barreled rifle. Depending on how the original was attached it might be possible but not desirable to have removed. Personally, I would just get a new upper with a threaded barrel then you can attach what ever flash suppressor or registered suppressor you like.
  10. Practically all laws dealing with terrorists are about making people "feel" safer. They have NOTHING to do with actually stopping anything.

I got mine about 2 weeks ago, and I have never enjoyed a computer sooooooo much!!!
  12. I am not a lawyer, but if I remember correctly. In Tennessee its unlawful to carry a WEAPON for the purpose of going armed. Is a BP derringer a weapon? it does not have to be a modern firearm, just a weapon.
  13. Pictures would help a LOT, but it sounds like the crossman recruit. Crosman Recruit Pump Pellet & BB Rifle there is one.
  14. This is an interesting question, I remember reading a ruling that some pistols (black powder) could have shoulder stocks since they were not likely to be used in the commission of a crime however I don't know of any rule about rifles. I will follow this, I am curious to hear what others knowledgeable in this have to say.
  15. In Tennessee, it is illegal to carry any weapon for the purpose of going about armed, However having an exception to that law is a valid possession of a HCP. Some states do allow open carry of firearms with out permits and when people move here a lot of the time they do not understand that different states have different laws. Not unlike when someone moves here from Illinois is amazed they don't have to have a license to own a gun or from New York and can even own a gun!!
  16. We have a main coon as well and she is just a wonderful kitty. Only cat I have ever seen that will sit and roll over on command and loves to have her "wub" (wide under belly, vets technical term) rubbed. ours is 6 years old and 14 lbs.
  17. And how long of a shot? Big difference between 300 yds and 1000 yds.
  18. Still shoot film and finding 4x5 sheet film is getting very difficult. I may have to break down and go digital.
  19. I totally understand. This was my first year hunting and saw 3 small does early in the season and NOTHING since. Very disheartening.
  20. Double tap, ammo is cheap. Can't be too careful.
  21. if you ask me, you can't get better than that!
  22. I am a ham also. ke4pjr here. General operator.
  23. Don't know if its the right one, but Metro police arrested 5 people in Nashville and confiscated a stolen Glock handgun. Heres hoping for the best for you.
