  1. Just a suggestion, but maybe a park or something like that and we could grill some burgers and hotdogs. Probably get more turn out too.
  2. I got the same letter and I have a hazmat endorsement on my cdl which goes through dept. homeland security, so I kinda freaked out a little bit too.
  3. I'm getting one or two or three. They look great.
  4. I know of a fabrication shop in Centerville that just closed down. Will pass the word along.

    1911

I have never understood it either, I have a 1911 in .45 *when I can get it away from my wife that is.*
  6. I am a Ham as well. KE4PJR
  7. Honestly, its the only time in my life I can truthfully say I think I deserved a warning. I thought I was doing the right thing and he even admitted its a confusing area. I have a lot of law enforcement in my family and I was once myself, but I lost all respect for THP on that day.
  8. My last one was in Centerville,Tn for 55 in a 50 and the trooper even admitted its a confusing section of road since its 50 on this side of the road but 55 on the other side. This was a 2 lane road. Cost me 185.
  9. I have been looking for this as well.
  10. They did? Why? That's just stupid.
  11. I live about 2 miles from that stretch and want to take this, but I am like you and so stretched thin as it is I fear I could not do it any justice.
  12. I have the Springfield loaded and you do not need the bushing wrench. I have always felt it just made it more complicated. That said, you do have to press the plunger with your finger which has a bit of a lip on it so if you have sensitive fingers the wrench may work better for you. Try you tube, i bet there are thousands of videos showing in detail how to take a 1911 apart.
  13. The melting point of silver is 1763.474 °F and lead is 621.5 °F so I doubt the same pot would work.
  14. I believe as long as its hard sided and locking you are good to go.
  15. Agreed with steps on forms. Only question I have is OP stated he also wanted a suppressor. Can he file 2 form 1s at the same time for the same build along with $400 dollar payment of course.
  16. Never mind, thats not a bourbon.
  17. FWIW Texting or talking on a cell phone with out a hands free device in a commercial vehicle is illegal and carries a $2700 dollar fine. I personally believe that if you want something stopped make it illegal and set the fine so high that people fear it. Tell some one there is a $20 fine and they say "yeah so?", but tell them $2700 and they say "holy crap!" I am not doing that!! Just my humble opinion.
  18. Its a bayonet.
  19. Isn't that a destructive device? It's to my understanding that anything over .50 (except shotguns) is a DD. Hope I am wrong.
  20. I could be really bad, if you want I will take it off your hands. For safety sake you understand.
  21. I would go see a gunsmith.
  22. Do you mean you pull the trigger and still have to press the slide release button? If thats the case, you might want to see your local gun smith. I am not familar with that model but I have never seen a pump that didn't release when the trigger was pulled.
  23. I looks like a fancy Lansky system to me and Lansky is a LOT cheaper.
