  1. The definition of machinegun also includes a combination of parts from which a machinegun can be assembled if such parts are in the possession or under the control of a person. An example of a firearm meeting this section of the definition is a semiautomatic AR15 rifle possessed with an M16 bolt carrier, hammer, trigger, disconnector and selector. If the semiautomatic AR15 is assembled with the described M16 parts and the rifle is capable of fully automatic fire, the weapon possessed in conjunction with the M16 parts, whether assembled or not, is a machinegun as defined.17 As found on ATF website. Interpret as you wish. :)
  2. It used to be any m-16 part constituted a machine gun, but I have read the ATF is relaxing that and allowing m-16 bolt carriers. I do not know if they have further relaxed their definition. I'm just saying be careful. Personally, I would change the whole firing group out.
  3. I would be really careful. I looked at an ar-15 lower that has an m-16 hammer in it. Don't know what other parts may be in it, but good way to get in a jam.
  4. I wish I could, but where the heck is some one supposed to find 500 rnds of ammo?
  5. Where did you find them? I need some ammo too.
  6. What bothers me about this is the officers were obviously out to kill the suspect, I'm not saying he was innocent, but their job is to arrest and prosecute not vigilantism. They are police officers, not hired guns to kill who they don't like.
  7. Personally, since they flip flop, I will not buy their product.
  8. Dang and I just gave about 500 or so away.
  9. Under tenn. law he has to sign off. If he knows this or not may be a whole other question.
  10. If your sure its pewter I would be willing to part with a couple bucks and relieve you of that burden.

  13. pretty much one and the same. I know they moved batfe but for all intents and purposes they are still under the IRS. If it wasn't for revenue, they wouldn't exist.

  15. Welcome also from Hendersonville.
  16. Yes, the adapter is the registered part so you can have all the filters you want without additional fees or registrations. But the adapter is an NFA item so paper work and money.
  17. I think I dislike you. Seriously, nice weapons! :)
  18. I guess my brain isn't working either, because I also have no clue.

  20. If I am not mistaken, they are required to own a machine gun and ammo. not just a gun.
  21. Looks like someone will be getting a visit by the SS.......I mean ATF soon. :)
  22. When, where and what level? Every time I've checked their website it's very outdated. Is there possibly a new website?
  23. I am a truck driver by trade and was delivering to a welding shop once and asked that very question. His advice to me was to find a small shop near home and talk to the owner and see if he will let you volunteer weekends in trade for learning. He told me he has taught about 3 men like that.
