Gotten almost exactly 4 years each out of consecutive GE washers. Last purchase was a Maytag. It runs like a rod is about to come thru it. But only on the Hot cycle. On Cold... it's ok.

No thanks. Don't drink beer, and rarely anything else.

Thanks for the new temptation. I'm sure got to find one now.

Menu photos making me hungry. But what's and Arepa?

I may have, but I cannot remember ever eaten a Bojangles meal.

Five minutes and 38 seconds of mass insanity from the streets of Minneapolis
hipower replied to leroy's topic in General Chat
So much I want to say here...but will do several things that are bad for me. One, I'll be labeled as a racist. Two, I'll be accused of wanting genocide. So only a few comments. I cannot fathom some of the statements made in this video. Burn the city down? Ok...go ahead Your home is there too. It's gone. Where will you go? Run back to white government and scream for more houses to live in? Where will your food and money come from? Rioters/looters are only taking are only taking things out of frustration and are just going to destroy it all to make a point? Bull***t! When you break into a business and carry out shopping carts of merchandise, pull up cars and load them up...that's not frustration. That's theft. Yeah, I saw all the tv sets, clothing, shoes, and cases of liquors set afire in the streets. Did all that just to show how much you care about Floyd, Breianna and the others. Sure makes a strong statement. Kill all the whites to end racism? Wow. That's just incredible. Where will those two females end up in that situation? Start a civil war? Nuts. There might be an eradiation of some, starting with all the street corner loudmouths threatening restaurant patrons and owners, vandals and looters; but a whole race? You seriously do not want to start that ladies. It just might not go as you would think or like. -
Right on all counts! Mickey's breakfast platter is good. The biscuits and McMuffins are good if not too burnt. I like Arbys and Sonic. Wish we had a Whataburger here! Wendy's...I like it, but my wife refuses to eat anything from them. And I hate sesame seed buns!!!

As an Old Road Warrior, I ate McDonalds so frequently it was just absurd. However, back in the dim past...the 80s/90s, it was at least cheap(er) than now. I could get a Quarter Pounder Meal for 2.99. That at least made it reasonable for a quick lunch out on the road that I could eat between stops. I later started going to Burger King for much the same reasons, but I thought the food was a bit better. At least it had some flavor to it. But as Erik88 says, today the fast food meals are 9-12 bucks at the same burger places. On occasion, I'll get that Mickey D craving and stop in. Then I remember why I had stopped...still the same cardboard-like flavor in the meals. And still not even cheap.

Decent show, especially for it's time. Hated Robert Vaughn. Loved David McCallem.

What a humble, and caring man. His story is amazing, yet only one of many from our Greatest Generation. Watch some of the other Medal of Honor videos at he end of his. They are wonderous tales of brave men.

Lots of flowery words I could use here, but I'll just leave it at what Dirtshooter said so well. Rest In Peace, Mr. Coolidge, with the thanks and respect of a grateful city, state, and nation.

Great pistol. I have a few Smiths, but nothing like that. Best I can claim is a 6" 38 Special that my Dad used in the 50s/60s when he was into competative shooting. Never really researched it, but have been told it's a late 30's, early 40s vintage.

Well, I don't think I implied that. It would have to include myself as well. lol Seriously, I knew just enough to get a coherent question together, but I think I can see where an educated and trained person would find this useful. Sadly, I don't fall within those parameters.

Ok, I've read thru the thread and all comments now. Re-read Dr. Atlas's comments twice. I found it to extremely well written and informative, laying out his opinions on the pandemic and how we have responded politically and socially. Now let me say that I do recognize Dr. Atlas from his many appearances on "news" as an advocate of former President Trump and sometime opponent of Dr. Fauci. So I tend to view this article with a somewhat slanted opinion...a very favorable one at that. So I will credit Darrell and ReeferMac for postings that got me involved. Ok, I agree with Dr. Atlas. That's noted. I think Dr. Fauci is a political hack at best. A conniving fraud with very vested interests in the Covid-19 pandemic at worst. But I would like to add to Darrell's quote from Dr. Atlas. I find it far more telling with the full statement and not just the last sentence of the quoted paragraph. "With social media acting as the arbiter of allowable discourse, and with continued censorship and cancellation of those with views challenging the "accepted narrative," the United States is on the verge of losing its cherished freedoms." This is the first sentence of the quoted paragraph. I find it telling and frightening. Now couple it with the next sentence. "It is not clear whether our democratic republic will survive--but it is clear it will not survive unless more people begin to step up in defense of freedom of thought and speech." For me, this is the meat of the article, and a harbinger of the coming days. Now couple this with the comments attributed to Nazi Joseph Goebbels. "If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequenses of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State." Any of this seem familiar? Oppressive social media telling us what is truth. Then banning anyone or anything that contradicts their version of truth. News media that worships the left. Deriding all things conservative. Censoring, or at the very least downplaying "civil" discourse and rioting. Seems familiar to me.

Thanks for a layman interpretation for me. I was thinking along those lines. So it does have real world civilian uses.

Low intelligence level here...this is a viewable map(s) and tracking capable download? Does it work alone, or require a network of users?

Watched all of the s***show I could stomach this morning. Sanctamonious rats! Despise listening to their blathering at any time! And that slimy little dweeb Jerry Nadler just makes me livid! -

Interesting. I wonder if they would work for the Shield Plus mags? Probably not, but just thinking. -
Sometimes the old ways are the best.

No thanks. I get enough ridicule as it is.

Ran about 100-125 assorted thru mine last week as well. Assorted brands. Mostly crap stuff and some WWB. Ate them all and asked for more. I seriously like this pistol...PC model, 4" non-ported, no safety. Keeper!

No! I look like a flowered tent in them! lol
