  1. DANG!!! I'm missing out on so much stuff lately! Those would be ideal for a bunch of 22s that need some optics!
  2. i never got into re-loading, but I will guarantee you this. If it does return to something like last year or before; I will be buying primers and powders for barter! That's like hoarding gold these days!
  3. Do It! Then you can say..."I'm shooting up my kid's inheritance!" LOL!
  4. There are OTHER forums?? Wow. I never knew that. I seem to live here.
  5. Be still my beating heart! Gorgeous!
  6. I'd be way too embarrassed to do this pic!
  7. WOW! Quite a voice.
  8. If you can find any, 185 grain loads are great in the 1911s. Especially in the shorter barrels. I got some years ago for a Colt Officers just to try out, found I really like them. There is a discernable difference in recoil with them.
  9. Sort of reminds me of a young Catherine Bell.
  10. Nice choice. A little heavy with a full mag load, but nice.
  11. What holster do you use for it? I have the 4" and my old one doesn't quite fit.
  12. Wanna buy some more? I got a few too. LOL! Picked up a NIB 6" 38/357 a while back. Love it.
  13. Both...I'm a little slow on comprehension at times. I tend to scan too quickly and lose parts. Old age I guess. Dang, I seem to be using that excuse a lot lately.
  14. Well, it was funny afterwards, and I did post it for the fun part. Also to show that not all these prostate procedures are the same. I'm glad there seems to be many more choices. Not sure I'll do it again. Might just opt for the final option. It sure would be nice to sleep thru the night again.
  15. I can see them either. Tried opening with google and had a fit with google passwords. Just gave up.
  16. Had to read it twice...but great way to live. Wish I'd followed that advice.
  17. Adding to my comments on this. To set the mood for this...see my post above. When I had the RR done, I was told to stand in the shower and cut the little air bladder, then pull quickly. No problem. Won't feel a thing. Maybe a little tug or slight , short pain. Do it at home, he says. I'd had a pretty bad time with infections, so the catheter had been in for a like 6 days. The doc suggested that since my wife was a nurse she could do this for me. I was a bit reluctant about it at this point. It's ok, I can handle it she says. She was fine with it until the morning of the event. So here I am...standing in the shower of nice warm water. I clip the little bulb and say to her...ok, do it. She says No. I'm not doing it. So I'm standing there...like the old adage, with my roscoe in hand...looking at her, dumbfounded. Saying...but...but you said you would do it. Again she says No. You do it yourself. I'm not going to hurt you and have to listen to you complain. LOL It was funny. Now. Anyway, I took a deep breathe, held it, and got ready to do the deed. I exhaled. I pulled. I screamed like a little girl! They lied. It did hurt. More than just a little. Felt like pulling a half inch washer out on grass string. And that thing just kept coming as I pulled...swear it was 2 feet long! At least it felt that way. This is a true, and embarrassing story. I swear it. I did have a few things going on that made it worse for me, but the whole deal happened. Just this way. Now I know things are much better now. I may have to do this procedure again. I will check all the other options you guys have mentioned first.
  18. From my own experience, and my opinion. I had the R&R procedure done circa 2013. It helped...to a certain extent and for a while. Made urinating faster and easier. Relieved that "pressure" feeling. Seems to me like it was good for about 5 years and symptoms slowly return. I don't think it actually does a lot for the prostate, just cleans the urethra. Now that's just my case, and I'm sure it varies person to person. The Rezum Water Vapor Therapy I have no knowledge of. I will ask my urologist about on my next visit.
  19. Link says "Sold Out." I'll keep checking for this. Sounds good for my little gal Molly, and for me on those few outings in the brush around us.
  20. Does any shop/business local to Nashville area have slings in stock? Sure would help my confused state to see them in person.
  21. Agreed. Grinding our tools and knowledge into chains. Very much what's going on today.
  22. You guys make me feel ashamed. lol Value gotten from this site is immeasurable! Money spent at this site is worse than immeasurable!! So why do I feel ashamed? I bought the Lifetime Benefactor Membership just after David started the program. It was a special rate deal. I really don't even remember what that amount was. But I can tell you that it's been one of the best deals for a cost vs benefit decisions I've ever made. Not that I still couldn't have enjoyed, participated, bought and sold here way back then, but it's been a small amount to pay for all I've gotten in return. Yes the selling restriction has been added since I did the deed, but it still has been worth far, far more than I would ever have dreamed.
  23. Excellent movie! Have to put it on my watch list. Haven't seen it a quite a while.
  24. Thanks. You read my mind. lol I was looking at the price differences and thought about it.
  25. I don't, as yet see a folded carry for me. I know I see that in tv and movies, but is it really viable? Or just for specific times? I'd guess preference would also enter into this. Been watch the Sylvan ads, all pretty much 150. So is Law Tactical worth double + cost? Thinking for my first go-round may it should be Sylvan. And hopefully a sit down with Smith for a lesson or two.
