    Sig RCS 1911

Keep repeating...I do not need another 1911...I do not need another 1911...I do not,,,I do not...I do..I do...ahh I mean do not...
  2. It's already been said...but that's great work. I haven't seen that quality in a long time. If you need brushing up.....????
  3. My dad used it in his competition days in the sixties and swore by it. I haven't used any in years since I shot up the last that dad kept in his stash.
  4. That bit with his skis riding on or above the lift cables looked excessively dangerous. But did look cool.
  5. Thanks, I'll give it a try.
  6. Ya' think?
  7. Yes, David. I understand that, but the underlying factor in all of this is money. Money for the new drug and safety programs. Money for the players who want more than the league minimum; and a change in the wage structure; more for the NFL pension funds. etc. My take in a nutshell. And I don't see hope for much change in it. As long as the star players and big-name draftees can demand and get these stupidly high contracts that seem to get more insane every year, the bottom line is higher prices. Higher tickets. Higher concessions. Higher jerseys and souviners at the outlandishly high stadiums that we taxpayers fund for the owners. And yes, I am a football fan.
  8. So that surprises you?
  9. It was bugging meas to why that looked familiar...I guess I'm just slow today. Looks a lot like the Marine's guns used in the Alien/ Aliens movies. Now I like/ want one more. Just a sifi nerd I guess.
  10. Excactly!!!
  11. I'm in! What's not to like about it. Awesome looking bullpup styling on a short shotty.
  12. Two excellent choices. Need someone to babysit them? I'll volunteer. Especially for the Springfield.

    My new 1911

Congrats. I been longing to see one. For some strange reason, I seem to want one of every 1911...heck, make that one of every gun I see.
  14. My thoughts and prayers for you and your family. I'm so sorry for you. It seems that so many of us lost a parent this year. I'll be thinking about all of us tonight.

    I want one... BAD.

I like it. I'm also partial to 22mag. So when do we order?
  16. Thanks for the feedback guys. As I posted earlier, I thnk that unless I find a steal on a conversion, I'm thinking that a Ruger MkII/III may be in my future. I've been offered a good price on one, but doesn't have the bull barrel I think I want. And a Happy New Year to you all!
  17. Pretty. Shiney.
  18. Thanks, mav. The more I get into this, the more I begin to reconsider the kit idea. I'm having trouble searching on GlockTalk, but checking some other web locations don't leave me feeling warm and fuzzy about this. I wonder if a seperate 22 caliber gun isn't the best way to go. I've had the idea of a suppressed 22 on my mind for a while, so maybe looking for a bull barrel Ruger or a buckmark might be next.
  19. Thanks, JReedEsq. Any comments on the kimber kits, anyone? From what I've read on here, the Advantage kits on the glocks seem to be quite popular, but not having experience with either, I'm hoping to be informed and educated by some of our more knowledgable members.
  20. How about some feedback? I'm cosidering a 22 kit for one of my pistols. I have a blue Kimber ProCarry II that I'm tempted to get a Kimber kit for. And a couple of Glocks that might also be used--a 19 and a 22 that I'd think about an Advantage Arms kit. Money is not the issue; roughly 330 for the kimber and 275 for the glockkit. Anyone care to tell me of pro/con issues with either? Or have experience with either of them? Thanks.
  21. Excellent work! Makes me think and look at some of the goodies I've bought in the name of smaller size. Some aren't that small.
  22. John Wall at Eastside Gun in Nashville. 615-258-4080. He has installed sights for me and I'm well pleasedwith his work.
  23. I kinda like it. Pardon me, I gotta go now...
  24. Yeah, Baby!!!!
  25. In a scary kind of way.
