Personally, I have some questions here. A 6 o'clock hold on the bull at 7 yards and it's shooting 2 inches low? Now what I'd want. I grant you that the grouping is great though. Is he using a benchrest or shooting freehand? He makes a comment later in the video while shooting at 25 yards about freehand. All in all, I wasn't impressed with his style of reviewing. JMO.

Oddly enough...I think I like it. Gives the Glock a certain panache that improves it's looks. LOL! Although not really a fan of the "battleworn" appearance of many manufactured items, this does work. Has a realism to it that makes it work.

The SR9c and the SR45 were in my stable for quite a while. I sold the SR9c, as it really just didn't feel right to me. Dunno why, it just didn't. The SR45 was another matter. IMO, one of the best shooting 45s made outside of the 1911. In a fit of major stupidity, I sold it as well. Putz am I.

Sounds like you have a life and plans to go with it. I don't. I merely exist.

Thanks, I will look int this. I really haven't gotten into audio books, especially since I retired. lol. But there are times I wonder if it would work for me. I could put on headphones and tune out the wife...uh...I mean not hear the tv and be interrupted by gushing wedding plans and tales of reunited lost loves on the Hallmark movies.

I had never seen/heard this. Really good stuff!

Richard Fox of SyFy fame? If so, who does the readings? Can't really decide who I could see doing these.

I did send a PT111 back at the onset of the "recall." I never got a repair or even one of the next gen replacements most got. My late brother-in-law handled the return for me. He really got into giving their CS people a hard time over the dela in getting a "repair" done. So they promised to fast-track a gun out ASAP. lol After several weeks of calling wedecided to give up and wait it out. Finally, I did however get sent a consolation prize because there were none of the promised gun available. Got a 24/7 OSS model out of the deal. Happy I was! But I missed the PT111 and finally bought one on GB. It was not nearly as good as the one I sent in initially. By then, it was too late to try and send this one back. lol Long tale as usual. There's good and bad in every brand, some more bad than others; but I'm okay with my Taurus guns.

Sort of been expecting this. Hate to see a man with such obvious knowledge be offended by those who might disagree with him.

I never seemed to learn that lesson either. Maybe that's why my posts tend to be like a short story. lol

Hoppes fan forever! lol. Although I use Balistol and similar products for a light cleaning, Hoppes is for the big time cleaning. I am banned from using it in or near the house. My wife hates the smell of it. I have to go outside to use it, and usually change my clothes afterwards. I mean she REALLY HATES the stuff!

Just stick with Vienna canned meats. The chicken is pretty good...when you can find it. The Barbeque flavor is my favorite. Go a couple of flats squirreled away for emergencies!

LOL! Don't be ashamed. Some of us still have Taurus ugly pistols. Or is that ugly Taurus pistols? lol. I can say that. I own several. PT145 is actually my favorite, with a PT 100 40 a close second! I have a sickly green TCH in my safe. Just loaded to snatch at a moments notice. Bought it as a joke for my wife. She WAS NOT impressed with my intent.

Mostly true. On the secondary market anyway. Retail pricing is creeping up on the Canik line. Even the metal frames of the original guns are beginning to get higer priced...when you can find anyone willing to sell one. My Shark is absolutely fantastic. The poly line is increasing as well. The best way to buy a Canik these days is to snap it up immediately when you see it from the big online sellers...PSA, GrabaGun, Primary, and Aim Surplus. Darn it...now I've given away my best secret sources!

I bow in your general direction for such an insanely insightful and accurate comment.

I must admit to owning a VP9 Tactical. It's been a safe queen since I bought it. The trigger seems pretty good on it. But I still prefer my Caniks and Walthers. LOL. My weak hands can handle those.

ATF admits to having 1 Billion gun records.
hipower replied to Grayfox54's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Yep! As Grayfox says...we know it for years! Decades even! Sure, I ALWAYS believed that line...We don't keep records. Destroyed right after approval. RIGHT! -
This is GREAT! And pretty accurate too!

Well. That certainly looks good! About a 2 hour trip for me. Don't know that I can make it, but sure would like to try. Migh even be able to get with GT and talk about that Bowie!

I really like my Sigs. I would like to own a 226X, but as Snaveba says "money" stops me. That sure is one of the most gorgeous Sigs I've ever seen though! But I'll just stay with my Nightmare.

Another west coast escapee.....

Welcome to Tn and TGO! Gorgeous Mustang you have! That color is fantastic on it. -
I've got and used several of the Pmags without issue. Have you tried any of the RWB or Amend2 mags? Have some of them also and rate them as good as KCI and other "military" mags. Of them all, I do seem to like the Amend2 better. Why? Maybe a better finish look to them. They certainly function as well as Glock and all the others.

Is there a virus? Yes. Is it lethal to some people? Yes. Are older, sick people more prone to get and die from it? Yes...it seems that way. Does the gub'ment use this virus as a weapon against the people for personal and political gain and power? Yes. Has the whole thing been politicized beyond belief? Yes. Do mask mandates and lockdowns help? I believe not. Has this country taken a major hit in all areas...personal, social, education of our children, and destruction of our economy? YES. There. Summarized all 199 pages and almost 5000 posts for everybody.

I've said this before, but needs to be repeated. David, you have some very interesting pistols. You give me ideas and bad thoughts. lol I have a G19 with a TLR7 stashed around the house. Does suit it's purpose and I'm familiar enough with it to not be concerned really about replacing it. However...that G45 setup is really nice looking. I bought a G45 and sold it to a buddy. I do sort of regret that move. Right up there with selling a Shadow Systems because I got money scared. lol Maybe I'll get one of the G45s if I stop buying all these other tempting items.

I don't have the ported Shield Plus, but I can tell you that the PC 2.0 ported is a joy to shoot. It does make reduce flip on the Shield. As the owner of multiple Shields over the years, I really like the PC 2.0 Ported model. Now my Shield Plus PC 4" is not ported. It shoots as well for me as the 2.0. Perhaps a bit more flip, but not being a pro, it's barely a consideration for me now. Would I like my new one ported...yes, I would. But got what I found when I found it. Now back to the og's topic. Is a comp really necessary on the 365XL? I haven't shot one, so i have no point of reference on it. Thoughts welcome.
