Don't feel bad, buddy. I had bought a Sig 365XL and was feeling pretty good about it...until this appeared. lol.

I've been saying that for a long while. Like about January of 2020. I didn't believe a word of the origin story then and I still don't. Even if I had thought of believing any of it, after a few words from that weasel Fucchi I would have.

A single man can sometimes be good. Mankind as a whole sucks.

You definitely have some beauties there! I'm a wee bit envious!

Let's cry together on this one. Many years past, I was in a semi-local gunshop during a Turkey Day Sale. Found myself looking over a shelf of S&W magnums. Three sort of reached out and grabbed me by the cojones. A Lew Horton 629, a Model 19-2, and a Smith Mountain gun. I couldn't seem to make a decision...so the clerk suggested I just buy all 3. So I did. Wife had a fit when I got home. How much did you spend? I told her the truth. All three came to just under 1K. I'm sure I won't see that again. At least I wouldn't think so. I still have the others, but I sold the 629 to a co-worker a few years later for 750 and was very happy. That let me more than clear the others. But I sure have regretted letting that 629 go. And a Lew Horton model at that. Of course, most of the younger guys won't know that name. Just trust me. It might have been the best of the lot.

You Lie, Sir! I've seen your gun room!!

NOPE. NOPE. NOPE.

Been there...done that! Once my day looked so sh---y, I just eased back out of the parking lot before I was seen. I didn't work there much longer. My choice though.

Like Magic and ED, I have had reservations on buying the AMMO brand because of the many negative comments I see on it. However, I heartily applaud Richard Childress and AMMO , Inc for this gesture. In watching several news reports in the link Dirtshooter shared, it seems that individuals are also contacting AMMO Inc and making offers to aid in this shipment. Whether it be in terms of helping pay, or adding additional amounts to the shipment; I think it a fantastic idea. I wish I were in the fiscal shape to make a large contribution myself. Been watching this since day one when it was announced, and hoping to see this done more quickly than the conversations seem to say about the time it's taking to move on the situation. I just hope and pray the wonderful "Government" we have doesn't step in and nix the operation.

This is just so wrong! And oh so very funny!!!!

I think this one really does apply to me. Didn't really change my activities or lifestyle. Stayed the same old reclusive hermit who lives on the keyboard and buys usless S*** from Amazon and EBay. Still doing it. Is that wrong?

Yeah. I get it. lol. Brings back a lot of memories from the late 60's!

Personally, I have some questions here. A 6 o'clock hold on the bull at 7 yards and it's shooting 2 inches low? Now what I'd want. I grant you that the grouping is great though. Is he using a benchrest or shooting freehand? He makes a comment later in the video while shooting at 25 yards about freehand. All in all, I wasn't impressed with his style of reviewing. JMO.

Oddly enough...I think I like it. Gives the Glock a certain panache that improves it's looks. LOL! Although not really a fan of the "battleworn" appearance of many manufactured items, this does work. Has a realism to it that makes it work.

In a word...no. We all seem to learn it the hard way. But I didn't. I'm perfect! Well perfectly unstable.

The SR9c and the SR45 were in my stable for quite a while. I sold the SR9c, as it really just didn't feel right to me. Dunno why, it just didn't. The SR45 was another matter. IMO, one of the best shooting 45s made outside of the 1911. In a fit of major stupidity, I sold it as well. Putz am I.

Sounds like you have a life and plans to go with it. I don't. I merely exist.

Thanks, I will look int this. I really haven't gotten into audio books, especially since I retired. lol. But there are times I wonder if it would work for me. I could put on headphones and tune out the wife...uh...I mean not hear the tv and be interrupted by gushing wedding plans and tales of reunited lost loves on the Hallmark movies.

I had never seen/heard this. Really good stuff!

Richard Fox of SyFy fame? If so, who does the readings? Can't really decide who I could see doing these.

I did send a PT111 back at the onset of the "recall." I never got a repair or even one of the next gen replacements most got. My late brother-in-law handled the return for me. He really got into giving their CS people a hard time over the dela in getting a "repair" done. So they promised to fast-track a gun out ASAP. lol After several weeks of calling wedecided to give up and wait it out. Finally, I did however get sent a consolation prize because there were none of the promised gun available. Got a 24/7 OSS model out of the deal. Happy I was! But I missed the PT111 and finally bought one on GB. It was not nearly as good as the one I sent in initially. By then, it was too late to try and send this one back. lol Long tale as usual. There's good and bad in every brand, some more bad than others; but I'm okay with my Taurus guns.

Sort of been expecting this. Hate to see a man with such obvious knowledge be offended by those who might disagree with him.

I never seemed to learn that lesson either. Maybe that's why my posts tend to be like a short story. lol

Hoppes fan forever! lol. Although I use Balistol and similar products for a light cleaning, Hoppes is for the big time cleaning. I am banned from using it in or near the house. My wife hates the smell of it. I have to go outside to use it, and usually change my clothes afterwards. I mean she REALLY HATES the stuff!
