Thank you. And a very Merry Christmas wish for you and your family as well!

Valerian Steel! LOL! But then it would be good for Ice Kings!

4WD?

I really should resent the inferrance, Santa. Especically when coming from and old guy who visits a lot of young children. lol But then again, you just might be right! I have been having these strange thoughts of...well never mind.

That's a nice billy club/stickball bat he's got.

Don't get near any of the Inglewood/Gallatin Road Kroger stores. You'll get trampled. Don't know what it is that makes people, me included, get that "gotta get food now" syndrome when the S word comes around. But I'm getting better with it nowadays. Pretty well stocked, just a bit low on my bagels and cream cheese.

Hmmm. Those are neat looking. Nice boxes and cases look pretty good. I'll look to see what I might make a trade offer on.

Knoxville Rural King Employee Killed by Shoplifter
hipower replied to Garufa's topic in General Chat
My first thought was for the opposite condition. But just maybe being caught and tried will provide some answers and a bit of solace for the victim's family. In either case, I wish for the shooter to hang or fry! Yes, I know that's hardly likely anywhere anymore; but I long for the days of justice. Not just a slap on the wrist. -
That really stopped me a split second then I laughed!

LOL. I had a revolver once with the wrong stamping on the barrel for model and caliber. That was a real strange one.

Boss...I have to leave early. A family emergerncey just came up! I locked the shop for you already.

Thanks for that. I was so sure I'd seen it...but that still doesn't get me out of hot water, so to speak. I was wrong, and gave bad info. Just got caught up in all of the conversations. I had actually forgotten (really true) that I'd bought a 365XL and put in the safe until I was ready to do something with it. Sadly, things got in the way this year, and I just never got to do anything with it. So when this thread came up, I began to have the itch to get involved. LOL. Just didn't research quite enough. So, thank you, I appreciate finding that I wasn't completely out of my mind this time around.

MR920 Combat. Not for me, but sounds like this would fit your tastes.

Old-School Guy Teaches Firearms Cleaning

LOL! Too old and too broke for that to happen! Will just have to put up with it/her! Or is it the other way round? No matter...after 47 years, it kinda is comforting. -

I started using Hoppes #9 because my Dad did. Simple. I have also used some of the newer spray products, and they work well for a fast cleanup; but always come back to Hoppes. Like the gentleman said...I like the smell. However, my wife does not care for it at all. Cleaning inside the house is a definite no-no. -
I think that pretty much sums it up for me. I have some nice examples of both, but tend to pick up striker far more often.

Need New Carry Flashlight - Suggestions appreciated
hipower replied to crc4's topic in Knives, Lights, EDC Gear
Almost ashamed to mention these...Sealtorch2000. Sold under many names. I first encountered them in the old Lone Survivalist ads. LOL. Wonder what happened to him? Anyway, these are scattered about the house and in glove box in all vehicles. Use them for outside walks to mailbox, car, etc. Good little lights...almost a throwaway. Given them to neighbors. But to the origional question. For a much better carry flashlight, I have an older Walther TacticalPro, and an unknown age Streamlight. Both these are pocket clip/carry and use CR123 as a power source. Effective, but dated. Looked at the Streamlight 66320 recently. Seems like a good entry point for me to move up to a rechargeable pocket light. Many of these mentioned above gathered my interest as well. Will be checking them and others out. Thanks for the thread and all the advice. -

Well...I didn't fall asleep. But I did get drowzy! That New England accent sure is comforting, LOL! A bit slow in his speech, but yes, a very well done video on cleaning your rifle. I probably have taken short cuts in my cleaning, but this will surely help me as a great refresher course. Well worth the time this cold Saturday morning.. -
I had your 300's older brother...76 Charger Daytona. Two-tone blue with almost no options but AC on it. Found it on the back lot of the local Chrysler dealer. Loved it immediately. Then I drove it. Some sneaky shop tech dropped a 360 with a 4bbl and a few mods into it for the shop manager's daughter. Evidently she had a worse leadfoot than I did. It went up for sale and that's where I found it. Unfortunately for me...and the car, I got slammed on the driver's side right on the wheel. A Toyota HiLux pickup of all things. Totalled the Charger. Broke both frame rails. Put the battery cable back on the post in the Toyota and it drove away.

Your first photo...'Cuda or Barracuda? That a 70 or 71? Can't see the tailamps to be sure. I had a 70 Barracuda in Screaming Yellow!!! Well, actually Lemon Twist Yellow to be accurate. It was somewhat of a sleeper. Single exhaust. No roll pan cutouts. Had a 383 stuffed in under that magnificent hood! Burnt off the first set of Remington XT120s in just under 6 weeks. Yes I was a bit slow. Had that car when I met my wife. She hated it. Didn't like the color at all. Then there was the factthat she go pulled over the first time she drove it. LOL! Not for what you might think though. Cookeville PD knew the car very well. And me as well unfortunately. She swears they pulled her over because they wondered why the car was going so slow. She was rusting out pretty bad (the car, not the girl) when I traded it in on a 69 ragtop Vette. I miss the old Barracuda. It really was a nice car, and lots of fun to drive.

Buddy, I sure wish I could afford this! It would solve a lot of issues for me, but I just cannot at this time, or probably anytime soon. But that's a beauty! Sadly, I must say GLWS on this one.

Braces / What’s the deal on this now?
hipower replied to Fourtyfive's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
True. But a few times have we been snookered by the gov't and not seen it coming. Yep. My pessimistic side is out today. -

With all the good comments above...is it worth noting that the 87,000 new tax agents are trained(?) and armed? Could they be shifted over to BATFE as enforce ment agents? Send them out to search for people with a brace at ranges?
