  1. Last week one of the big online sellers had them for 900. IIRC.
  2. Scrap aluminum gotten that high? Back when I was into auto parts, I was giving 5-8 for wheels and getting an average of 10 each. But that's been a few years back. MphsTiger...have you tried selling to used wheel and tire stores? Maybe worth a call.
  3. Truth be known, I haven't fired a shotgun in 20 years. Bought a few, but last time shooting was on a skeet range. And...as interesting as this sounds, I'd better pass to someone who can shoot it. Had a very bad weekend with back and shoulder pain. My body is really letting me know just how bad off I am. I hate it, but finding that I must accept the truth...getting older and more decriept by the day. Sadly, this is not a comment for humor. It's my truth these days. I've had about 6 hours sleep in the last four days. Very fitfull and painful. Pain meds don't seem to work like they once did. Chiropractic is no longer as effective. Not sure what's next. On a better note, for anyone considering this...AnotherMike is great to deal with! Good luck friend, with the sale.
  4. Even then...will we get the entire "manifesto"? Much as we hate it, and hate to believe such things happen; who's to say we won't recieve a redacted version? Agenda driven politicans and media could decide to release "what's best for us" to know. It has happened before.
  5. How about the Popeal line? Not sure of the spelling here.
  6. Day'em...That's nice! Unfortunately, out of my range at the moment.
  7. Very nice! Very tempting...but another caliber to feed? Gotta think hard about that.
  8. Ditto. I've heard what I think is similar to your thoughts. Suspect/agressor possibly a trans.
  9. I believe we have similar thoughts here. Timing of every incident seems to coincide with political need for someone/party. Keep the public upset with diatribe. Hold facts back. My wife doesn't believe any person could possibly do such a thing. I've been trying to teach her to look beyound the headline. Who benefits from this? She's wonderful, but sometimes a bit naive.
  10. I have seen worse. It's actually not that bad looking.
  11. The Glock Store has been, for me anyway, a big letdown. Many reasons, but I hate the range situation most. It's really a "training only" setup. And expensive too! Just my opinion.
  12. Seems like it to me anyway. It wraps around 2 sides of the upper level in the store.
  13. Possibly. But with 60%+/- of the safe weight being the door, the pic seems to show it fell from the front; either way...too dangerous for one man to move alone. Especially at our ages.
  14. Best care you can get! Nursing wives a great! They can also be a terror, so watch out. I know. I got one too!
  15. Very sorry this happened, and I pray the bentleman is ok. However, my pitiful size/weight recognition skills wonder if that 2000# assessment is a wee bit off. I have one that appears to be about that size. It's 56 x 48 and was just under 1000 #. My brotherinlaw and I moved it off an open trailer and sat it up safely. But we had rollers, a hydrolic lift jack and blocks to sit it on. All we had to do was push and shove to get it placed on the blocks. That was 20 years ago though. I wouldn't even think of trying to move it now. Too old, too slow, and way too paranoid of getting hurt again.
  16. Almost 1 1/2 to 2 years! LOL!
  17. CZ75 P-01, and Omega...can't beat them!
  18. This had to "come back around" as they say. Old man's thought processes are slow these days! Yes I do remember that meet. I kept thinking your handle was familiar. I'm still a CZ fan,and have a few still lying around. I'm strongly thinking that as the money becomes available, I'll go after another 365, probably the XMacro or Tacops. So it wasn't too big a loss.
  19. Granted I haven't bought vinyl in years, but I agree with these locations. Mckays seem to be a bit better organized and easier to see and search than Great Escape. JMO I haven't been to Phonoluxe or Grimey's in at least 10 years. Never been to Third Man Records, so can't comment there. However, unless you got a LOT of time to spend looking around; I would suggest going to West Nashville to start your search. The Great Escape Store on Charlotte Avenue, and then hop on 40W and get McKays at Exit 199(I think). If you are anything like me in searching, these two and a lunch break will occupy the entire day. Good luck in you hunt, and have fun!
  20. Unreasonable request I know. But anyone have spare/unused/unneeded .22 mags for PPK/s? If any of you eagle-eyed guys notice a change here, It's because I deleted the origional ad. Thought I had located some, but turned out to be .32 mags. I may just bite the bulledt and order some, but thought I'd try here first.
  21. I'm seeing12.0 to 13.00 on many of the traditional online sellers, I.E., GrabAGun, PSA, and the like. Most times it is 115, but if you look constantly; 124 shows us as well. Since both Fiocchi and S&B are about at the top of my favorite ammo list, I watch for the sales. Sometimes, but not often, I find "free shipping" above 99 or 200 bucks. I'm trying to get an order together now.
  22. Very sorry to hear this, but also happy you are still with us and doing well. Take care. Do exactly what they tell you. Do all the PT. DO NOT over exert yourself. This means no drinking, corousing, no sex, and no guns for a while. In fact, you should send them to me and I'll care for them.
  23. I had a McD's on the main street corner as I went out from home going to work. I had a REAL bad morning routine for years. 2 Egg McMuffins, Hash Browns, 2 Apple Pies, and a Large Dr. Pepper or Sweet Tea every morning on my way to work. I could be the poster boy for that ad. It's a miracle I survied those days!
  24. Paul Tags...look at the date on the origional post you replied to. It's 7 years old. Ishel posted a current show date. Have to look at the dates on posts sometimes; it can get confusing. I've done it too.
