Yes, they do. Recently they've gone to scheduling pickups(or at least try to) in the afternoons, and expecially on Saturday morning. Don't p*** off Lauren! She'll make you sit in the corner and wait!

I'd say it sounds like you got it right! love to have some of my grandma' cornbread.

Didn't he realize which end the bullets came from? Keep the fingers off the triger and not in front of the barrel when holstering!

They might just be on to something!!

Charlotte store? I used to know the record buyer there. He always had a stash of primo stuff in the back for special customers. Rare old unopened. Went back into the late 50s on some. Was I special? Some have said that. I think I took most back there when we last moved. Just too much stuff and getting too old. Also too many hobbies! But glad you found some things. Next trip in, you can check out some of the others.

New house foundation : concrete slab or crawl space ?
hipower replied to tercel89's topic in General Chat
On the vent issue...we have auto opening and closing vents. They are set to change on 40 something degrees. I forget what. They have worked well for us for 20 years. Had to replace them 10 years ago after flooding though. If it looks to be real cold, I have some cardboard cut to put in front of the vents. Onle done that 2 times here. Oh, yeah...we have a crawlspace. Hasn't been a problem but for dring out after that flooding I mentioned. -
Well...I could check at my next family reunion. A lot of hill people in my family. I don't guarantee anything on any of'em for long term relationships. They's fickle people! Part of comment deleted. Bad memory.

Thanks guys for all the information. I think Vince is hooked on my Green Mountain/Volquartzen model. LOL! But not letting it go. Built and given to me by my late b-i-l. The same goes for my dolomite model. Just too good to lose. In reverse order, TSG. Thanks, it might be my fallback on this. jeff...I've bought from locked&loaded, they are gtg people. Also a runner up. AnotherMike, I like the takedown model myself. lol. But not as a giveaway rifle! biilmeek, again, I know of locked&loaded. Good people. Thanks for reminding me. And first is last, Ntrain2k, thanks, but that's one I'd buy for myself just to knock around with. Thanks all. I got some thinking to do.

Granted it's almost sacrilage to put and RDS on a classic CZ75. but it sure would be an interesting piece!

Interesting. Not seen this, and a lot more likely that I've missed. Just remembered the FIE brand from somewhere. Thanks for the information.

Dang! Missed again!

No one? Really like to get one for him soon. He got to shoot my dolomite-suprafly, highly built 10/22 and wants it. Nope. Not gonna happen. It's one of the absolute best 10/22s I've ever shot. One I don't plan on ever letting go.

It's so sad this where we've come to in our lives today. Competition and excellence is discouraged. All in the name of "equality". What bovine scatology! I know there are good kids still out there. I hear of them here, and meet a few in my life. But so many are just playing on their cells and devices, that it just makes me disgusted with our country. What's going to be next, after we old fogeys are gone?

That is gorgeous! Makes me want one. I guess the Makarov cartridge is what has stopped me so far, But it is such a beauty that I want one!

Thanks for your report. I appreciate it. Liked the Prodigy first time I saw an ad for them. Sadly for me, not in the budget at this time. I'll just have to wait.

I still have my OMEGA! Love it. The idea of a rds on it is intriguing, I must admit.

I've only had one of the Ruger P-Series pistols...a P89. I really didn't like it at the time(early 2000s?). It was chunky and heavy to me. Since then, a tgo budy has made me see the error of my ways. LOL. I'm looking for 9/45 Ruger P gun. Your comment about the F. I. 380, was that FIE? Never owned one, but had people telling me to stay away from them when I was looking for a smaller pistol. Now...that PF-9. The mag drop issue I never had, but then I didn't keep it long! My late father-in-law and I were in Specialty Arms years ago. Found the "new" PF-9. I liked it, at least the feel. It was fairly cheap price as I remember; so I bought one for myself. Then Frank(f-i-l) did the same thing. So we both went home proud of our new purchases. Frank fired his before I did. Told me he didn't like it and slod it to a hunting buddy. I figured it was just him. UNTIL I shot it. Did a couple mags, maybe. I concur with you..."It also was the most painful pistol I've ever shot." Only thing worse was a Scandium frame Smith revolver in 357 that I shot once.

Watch out for dirty tricks, back-stabbing Rinos, and libs. Such a coup would be the ideal method to achieve the gun grabbers' wish for total bans.

Very nice. The 22 mag really interests me! I seem to have a fondness for the caliber. So I guess this will go onto my very long want list.

Yes, for years after he retired from the Tennessee Central RR, Pa wore his coveralls daily, but I can't say they were church wear. Ma wouldn't allow it. He had one plaid, brown sport jacket for church wear. Every time, rain or shine, hot or cold.
