I've run just under 1000 rounds through mine. When it was brand new, I used the slide stop to release the slide into battery otherwise it wouldn't fully engage, unless I gave the rear of the slide a tap. After 3 magazines, I've never had to do that again. I bought my wife one and no problems at all. I guess she's shot around 500 or so. We've mainly been using PMC target ammo. Have fun with it, it's a great gun.

No loaded firearms? So in this gun shop, you have to remove the magazine from your sidearm to be compliant. Wow, that a lot less intimidating. A gun on your belt with a hole in the grip. It was a bit of a chore to be able to carry and I will not leave any money in places that prohibit it, especially a gun shop.

Plus one for the Sig P238. I got mine at the first of the year. My wife likes the size and shooting it so I had to get her one also. I love the little thing and carry it as a primary. I know it's usually a back-up gun, but I don't want anyone to know I have it. I can carry it in my back pocket and it looks like a wallet. I can carry it my front pocket just as easy. An officer told me that he might miss it in a pat down thinking it was a wallet. That made him rethink his tactics. As far as shooting, it is outstanding. Very accurate. I'm just under 1000 Rounds and not one problem yet. Back to the primary carry comment before I get whaled on, if I get the first round on target I'm not going to stop there. 2X.380=.760. 3X=1.140 4X=1.520 5X=1.900. Return fire is not expected after that. I'll be mad if I'm wrong.

Anyone heard of any progress towards a rubber grip for the 238? I have the Houge on my 1911 and love them. I don't want the wrap around or condom type. The actual grip panels to replace the existing grips is what I'm looking for. I would pay well to get a couple of sets if only someone made them. Any info or rumors would keep me hoping. Thanks.

I travel to Chattanooga usually once/twice a month to work and it's nice to see them right down the road from where I stay. I have to buy something every time I go in there. They should be getting their range open soon. That will give me something to do besides sit in the hotel room. I'm very happy to see them there, and they're really nice.

There was a Bear and a Rabbit going poo in the woods. The Bear says to the Rabbit, Do you have troube with Poo sticking to your fur? The Rabbit says No, So the Bear wiped his Butt with the Rabbit. You can tell that one to your kids and watch the laughter.

I have an XD9 Sub Compact for sale in the classifieds. I got it for my wife, now she wants something smaller. Only top of the line for her and myself, and that's the XD9. Also has the Tritium/Fiber Optic sights. I was looking to trade for the Sig P238 so, that's how it's listed. WTT. Springfield XD9 SC for Sig P238.

Ok, I'm wandering what this Wally World Walk is. Nevermind, found it. Good idea. Congrats on the HCP. -
Nice. The feller at G&L said it's taking 120 days with the cencus going on. I don't believe that, but it's always nice to expect a long time and it happen quicker.

Well I guess they changed their mind. I got an E-mail from them and it said it would be Three weeks and I had to fill out an order form after I had already placed the order over the phone. With this in mind, I don't think I'll be doing business with them afterall. I hope they haven't already charged my card. : ( Also, it looks as if the trigger on the P238 is plastic. I'll pull it out to confirm this. If it is metal, I'll Mod. it.

I ordered one Today. It is $45 + $5 shipping. shipps in a week.

That's it. Looks to be coming soon, so I e-mailed them anyway. If it takes too long, I'll remove mine and do it myself. Now Hogue just needs to make some grips for it. Thanks for the help.

Well I got a new Sig Sauer P238 Yesterday and I want to put a nice looking trigger on it. I saw a pic. somewhere of one with a silver trigger with 3 holes through it. Anyone know where to get custom triggers for these little jewels? Any other custom parts? BTW: I love this gun!

Any recommendations on the most comfortable in the waist band holster for the Springfield XD? I don't want people to know I'm carrying, and I want to be comfy.

Thanks for the info. I wanted to pick some up this week. I guess I'll just stick with the Barrett from the Outpost Armory.

Anyone know of any polymer magazines for the 6.8 AR? Will a 5.56 30 Rd. mag.work but only hold 25 rounds? I heard that somewhere. Any help would be great. Charles.

The SSA is the first box of ammo I fired through it 115 grain. SSA is a good round I agree. Been thinking about Adams Gas piston conversion. I'm just a sport shooter but I like my gadgets.
