  1. Yep, A little closer...closer... If you can't read that, good luck with a 300 yd. target.
  2. It's a show on Science channel. Very interesting survival techniches. Some survival, some just plain wierd. He's kind of excentric and dirty, so it fits the part well. It's not just a science geek show, I don't think, at least I'm not wearing my periodic table shirt to watch it. Just figured I'd pass it along.
  3. Thanks RWF. The NP3 Plus is some really neat stuff. I do believe that's what I was looking for.
  4. I've been interested in geeting some parts coated. The Fail-Zero is a Nickel Boron plating, and I've heard there are other no lube coatings. I've had no luck finding Nickel Boron that wasn't a really high minimum order and Fail-Zero will only sell their parts. They don't sell the parts I want. Does anyone have any suggestions on other resources? I'm looking to get bolts, carriers, hammers, triggers, disconecters, gas pistons, ect... plated. Thanks.
  5. There are different stocks available for the Remington 700. They are specific for long bolt or short bolt. How can I tell which one I have? I Googled it, but could not find an answer. Any help would be great.
  6. Where is the show in Hendersonville? I'll definately make it to that one. I'll even save up for something.
  7. Does anyone know if the Sig red dot mount is interchangable with the Aimpoint T-1 mount? I want to use a riser with one.

    Sig p238

I love mine and my wife loves hers. It's a real shooter unlike the rugers and whatnot which I consider for emergency only. Fits in the pocket well and you can always have it with you. When you can't carry your hand cannon with you, your little 238 will be tucked nicely out of sight in your pocket. I have yet to replace the spring in either of mine with over 700 rounds fired without malfunction. I may just do that now anyway. I don't carry it cocked, I practice cocking it while pulling it from my pocket. I had this one Cerakoted to combat my butt sweat! Yea, the holster looks like a wallet.
  9. I was asking about this a long time ago. Dunking a gun. The only replies I got were about the Dunk-Kit. This is exactly what I've been looking for. Thanks for posting.
  10. It takes me a couple of weeks. I can't afford to buy all the parts at once.
  11. Ditto. Since I got hacked. NO FACEBOOK!
  12. Cars are fun. I've had Associated, Losi, Ofna, ect, ect. Started flyin planes at 14 then moved on to heli's at 17. Picked up by JR at about 24 then to Airtronics. It was fun, but I had to start real work to have a family. Some people remember me from my glory days of R/C. They are definately a lot easier now. We didn't even have simulators back then.
  13. Just got it back. A little dirty from the range. The grips were done also, but I love my Hogue's. Gunrunner32 does awesome work! Cerakote BTW.
  14. What's the story with a wasr. There's one down the road here for $525. What would anyone recommend for under $600 and best quality.
  15. D&T Arms not on yet. Good folks.
  16. Sig is a very reliable firearm. As far as accessories, the sky's the limit. You can spend a lot more on them than you have in the rifle, but that goes with any assault rifle. If it mounts to a picatinney rail, it will fit an AR also. You can start with budget optics and whatnot and see where it goes from there. The only downfall to a 556 is it's not as versitle as an AR. You can switch out uppers with the AR platform. You can put .22,5.56,5.7,6.5,6.8,7.62,9,.45ACP,.458Socom,.50Beowolf uppers on the same AR lower. Hope this helps. Oh, sorry, no switching stocks on the Sig either.
  17. I want to trade an Eotech for an AK. Should I use Firearm or Gear classifieds? I think firearm since a firearm is involved.
  18. Wow, what a thread. Can't believe this intrigued me long enough to read all of it. I just wanted to see how long it lasted. As far as the beer count, as for us Panzified Sissies (1), and for the Super Cool thread starter (100) obviously.
  19. I've been thinking about getting an AK 47 and don't know crap about them. Could someone please list the manufacturers from 1-? Good to Bad and maybe a ballpark value of each? Thanks for your time.
  20. I really prefer my P220 in DA/SA. Your first round is fired DA, then it's SA after that. No need to carry it cocked. It's safe and ready for action when you need it.
  21. Any ideas? I've heard between $300 and $900. I asked about selling for a friend, and was told no. So if anyone want to see it, PM me for the guys number.
  22. Kahr PM9. The trigger was terrible. Never knew when it was going to fire through the pull. I guess it felt like a DA. Just didn't like it at all.
