  2. Are you both using the Dillon? if so how many 9mm should I tumble at one time? Do you go half brass/half media? I'm asking all these because I have been using a 5lb tumbler from Harbor Freight and it used to give me a very shinny finish. I have tried changing media, other polish's no polish... It cleans but to a dull finish??
  3. I just bought a Dillon's CV-2001 Vibratory Case Cleaner, I have a question about the media that's best. I have walnut and corn cob, also I have Dillon's polish also have Nu-finish car polish. Let me know what combo works to get a shinny case before I load this new CV-2001 Thanks for any help

  9. Thanks Dave and everyone, Dave what is Redding? Also how does an undersizing die work? All I have is range brass, every shoot I pick up all the 9's that are not wanted, so some come from Glocks. I am shooting a Para 18-9 and it has a ramped barrel that is very tight. EGW might just be what i'm looking for..
  10. I found this http://www.leeprecision.com/cgi-data/instruct/1855.pdf Not offered in 9mm
  11. Glockster, would you please post the items that I would need if I were to build one? If you have time post a pic of your setup. Thanks

  17. Sorry, one more thing, is there any downfalls using a die to "seat the bullet and apply the crimp" at the same time?

  22. I am going with a Dillon 550. The price of the 550 is not all?? Right? I have a case tumbler and already have 1500 or so cleaned. When I order the 550 what should I add to the order? Do any of you size the entire case with a dedicated single stage setup? How much and what kind is the cheapest single stage can I get for a case sizer? Thanks for all of your help
  23. Knowing -0- about reloading, what would be a good choice in reloaders? I will be reloading 100% 9mm..
  24. Anyone have a used or new Safariland 561-53 for sale? It's an older belt style for a full size 1911. Thanks This should be under Gear, please move. Thank you
  25. They are lead with some coating?? I think power factor is around 850fps, so yes I need to make power factor.. No suppressor. I am shooting the new Para 18-9 Limited. It's a 5" barrel. I just wanted to start reloading to try the 147g at a slower speed to see if it will kill some of the flip as the bullet leaves?? The gun has very little recoil with store bought ammo but the 115g has a little bit of snap... Am I thinking in the right direction?? Thanks Info on the bullets: Precision Bullets are swaged with certified 6/2 lead alloy. We then apply our unique dry-lube formula.* This process completely encases the precision lead core. What does this mean for you? Safe for indoor ranges.* No leading in the barrel.* Fire more rounds downrange between cleanings.* Load twice as long and twice as much before cleaning your dies. Less smoke since no messy wax lubricants are used. Precision Bullets cost only a few dollars more than the cheapest cast lead bullets, but they give you jacketed bullet ballistics. They are clean, safe and accurate. You can fire our bullets at over 2000 feet per second with no leading and no copper fouling and no messy lubricants. The tough coat protects the bullet from damage and is a natural lubricant.* It keeps the bullet at tight factory dimensions and goes through the bore intact. That means no lead on your hands, no lead dust and no toxic fumes. Even long sessions at the loading bench or when shooting on indoor ranges.* It means clean hands, clean guns, clean reloading dies - and clean air. And you get a bullet which is highly uniform in weight and dimension.
