Not always. Quite often they are one and the same.

My Grandmother always told me that as well. Since I believe that the First Amendment is just as vital as the Second Amendment. I will defend your right to your opinion, but my Dad always told me that opinions are like a##%%%%s, everyone has one. I'm through here.

Touchy today aren't we Frank? Cussing does not bother me in the least. As a vet and having been in a few tight spots in my travels, it rolls off my tongue a little to freely sometimes. I do find your criticism of Buford to be a bit full of it too. Does he talk too much? Uh yeah. Loves Beretta and Ruger? Yup. He recommends what works and he's not attempting to or pretending to be an "operator" like some instructors. I have recommended many folks to him and none have come back and said anything negative.
-
Uh.... After he did the trashing. "I don't know Buford from Shinola but while he's maybe right about some stuff...it sounds like he is a bit off the deep end on objectively drawing conclusions about all handguns." Mars, He has his reasons for the types of firearms he likes and recommends. He also spells these reasons out in his classes.
-
Frank, if you are going to trash someone for your own personal gain, you should disclose the fact that you are a competitor up front. Is Buford's class the best? Maybe not, but I sat in on one of his classes and found him to be a pretty good instructor. Women seem to prefer him because he put their fears of the unknown to rest. Does he trash Glocks? Yup, I think they are crap too. I have heard some not so kind things about ASP as well, but thats another subject for another day.

Understandable, but the Kahr has a longer trigger pull than the XD. I've carried both of mine for years. It's perfectly safe as is. Practice with it until you are comfortable AND used to the longer pull and you'll forget about the XD.

I don't own a CW-40, but I do own two Kahrs. Both are rock solid reliable. For specific info and a pretty fast response, you might try the Kahr club over on Glock Talk.

CCing when posting is not as TN says it should be.
Beretta Racer replied to a topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
I have seen many places that "post" in a manner that isn't even close to the statute. Say, Verizon Wireless, small print on the door, just below "no dogs allowed" is " No Firearms". Banks like to bury the notice in and around other notices, like FDIC an so on. I ignore those, if I have to go in, and don't go in to those I don't. They will never know I am carrying unless I have to use it. -
Dillon Square Deal.

I log gun and ammo info. Gun: serial number, date of purchase, springs rate and date of install. Ammo: rounds as of date, type and load data.

"Winchester Has Been 'Walmartized'"
Beretta Racer replied to The Rabbi's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
I have shot many thousands of rounds of Winchester with zero problems. I have a box of .357 Silvertips on my desk right now. Hey Bill, got 9mm Silvertips? -
I had a PT111 a couple of years ago. Sold it and will never buy another Taurus auto again. After the third take-down pin broke, after the second I ordered a spare, It was gone. I sent one of the broken ones back to Taurus with a note attached. Never heard from them.

The State owns the property as long as they continue to have the State Fair. If the State Fair moves to a new location or just goes away, the land reverts to Metro Davidson County. I asked. So, since it is not private, but municipal, I would think it is off limits.

I have the same concern. If the release mechanism were metal it would be cool. Plastic, not so sure.

As a matter of fact they did. They called me with updates as to the progress and status of my order and when it shipped. Being a damn yankee, I guess the New York thing is something I got used to. Still, if it had been a bad NY attitude, I would have gone elsewhere.

A couple of months ago I had Fist make me a nice semi-custom thumb-break holster for my Rossi 462. I found them very nice and professional to work with. My Rossi wasn't a gun they had on their gun list either. The fit and finish was perfect.

I compared the PPS in size weight to my Kahrs. The Kahrs are thinner, but the PPS is lighter by about 4oz. G&A has an article on the PPS this month. I wouldn't mind one for my wife, she has a difficult time racking the slide on my Kahrs. I would have to see if the PPS racks easier than my K9.

Let them have their fun. They are wasting their time here. They will get ZERO TV News coverage at the station I work for. That's a fact.

USPSA Match at NTPS Aug 11 and 12
Beretta Racer replied to Beretta Racer's topic in Competitive Shooting Sports
How'd ya do? My Beretta was flawless. I was far from it. -
NTPS will be holding a regular monthly match this weekend at our range in Dickson. The classifier is 06-11, Where's the Ammo. Match round count is 111 and this month we will be having a rifle/shotgun side match. Come on out and have some fun, new shooters are always welcome at NTPS. Go to NTPS.org for more info.

Under the rules in USPSA US Appendix D7 and D8 it does not appear to be legal in Limited or Lim 10. Good question for Amidon.

Kahr K9 Elite. Slim, solid, accurate, comfortable and most of all reliable.

I'm sure CNN selected this moron just for the purpose of making gun owners look stupid, or as Joe Biden said "need help".
