  1. i wish they would import that little .380.......
  2. why not a .380 (ruger, kelttec, etc) or a PF-9 if you dont have faith in the .380?

  4. i liked the show.....i really like the fact a major network saw a demand for a show on custom firearms. That's progress IMHO
  5. I picked up a pf9 last week. I ran around 150 rounds through it with no problem. I didn't have any complaints about the trigger. It is a little snappy..... like a small frame .38 in my opinion. Nothing that isn't manageable unless you are recoil sensitive.
  6. I'm going old school on this one. No chance of winning with those fine machines above but these are my favorite "shooters" Remington 550-1 Winchester Model 74--.22short
  7. I picked up a new M&P9 last week. I took it out and shot it the other day. I shot ok with it but not what i had expected. The trigger is a little tricky compared to the glocks i have owned in the past. I'd love to hear some suggestions on aftermarket trigger modifications. I want to use this gun in IDPA but i'm a little worried about the accuracy i'm seeing right now. I now understand the term "combat accurate" i also picked up this PF-9 a few days ago. I actually shot better groups with it than the m&p. I don't know if i "love" the color but its function before fashion as far as i'm concerned. I had no problems out of the gun (fired around 200 rounds.) I'm not going to say it was "fun" to shoot but it will work for the intended purpose.

    keltec

I actually picked up a PF9 today. Took it to the range and ran 125 rounds through it. No problems to report. I paid 259 NIB....however.....its is "wallet brown" so i think that lowered the price a bit

    keltec

my keltec was reliable. Ball point ammo (cor-bon) was much better than hollow-point ammo in the ones i've owned
  10. well s*it....i havent got my email yet. I'm gonna give them a hard time about it....if you find a mis-priced item in the store they honor the lower price. Why should cyberspace be any different
  11. agreed...worst case (which i dont think will happen) we take our "expensive remote" to target and get a full refund. If you cant afford to gamble $45 then dont purchase. I've lost that much money on much dumber **** in the past.
  12. Both XD's are fine guns in my opinion. However, i picked up a M&P today rather than the XD. I'll report back after i get it to the range for a few days
  13. very nice
  14. if they send something you don't like/need i guess we can just take it back to target for a refund.
  15. Dont know how long it will last. They might try to change the price later on but right now it looks like a really expensive typo for target Amazon.com: PlayStation 3: Video Games
  16. my wife LOVES pink.....She's a huge fan of all thinks pink.....EXCEPT guns. She thinks they look like toys. I think she secretly wants one but wont admit it.

    Ruger P90

My wife got me a P90 for christmas and i really like it so far. She heard me over tell someone that i wanted a full size .45 that wasnt polymer. I think she did alright Anyway, i'm having a hard time finding feedback, info, holsters, etc for this gun. I'm not going to carry it in public but i would like to have a holster for when i go hiking (i feel somewhat "underpowered" with "just" a G26.) Any suggestions? Also, any ammo these really like or dont like? My first .45 and i'm already in love. 1911 for my birthday in February:angel: Oh, in my opinion, the houge wrap around grips make all the difference in appearance and feel of the p90.
  18. Keep in mind, you have to be 21 to get a permit to carry in TN......Also, a baton is not a legal alternative to handgun carry. Pepper spray would be a good option.
  19. well thats a hell of a start in the 1911 business ......
  20. seems like they come to our neighborhood at least once every two weeks. Really annoying, i stopped going to the door. I would be interested in their success rate with this technique. It seems they pour a lot of man hours in door to door sales
  21. other than the exposed trigger it looks good
  22. i know how you feel. However, i felt that a "budget" safe was better than no safe til i could save up the $ for the one i want. I dont think i will have any problem selling the one i have now when the time comes to upgrade. I would rather have "something" now than nothing while waiting. Just my .02
  23. very nice
  24. Will the office that conducts background checks be open tomorrow? Also, anyone seen any info on a after Christmas sale at Bass Pro Shops? I've got some gift cards to burn and i happen to be off tomorrow Thanks, not really sure to put this topic so feel free to move it.
  25. i went with a Centurion by liberty. Price was right (~$400) and it seems to be pretty solid. I think it would stop most but not all. It weighs in around 360 lbs empty. In addition to that, its mounted in a closet. This means they would have to find the safe, penetrate it, and make the haul without the dogs chewing on them and the alarm going off 30 sec after entry. I feel ok about it. I only worry when i am out of town for a extended period of time
