  1. Looks like i will be relocating to Charleston, South Carolina in the very near future. Does anyone have first hand knowledge of the gun laws? I would be particularity interested in how long my TN HCP is valid after moving. Thanks in advance for the help--
  2. I'd leave it alone if its a EDC. That gun is great right out of the box!!
  3. your family handled it well in my opinion. Better than most.....i couldn't tell you any of the laws. If this isn't illegal it should be. Property rights should protect a property owner from harassment--just my opinion.
  4. sorry for your loss..........i'll be praying for you and your family
  5. I pray i am never in that situation--for my sake and the sake of the sick SOB involved.
  6. When i biked on a regular basis i purchased a Religh M80. Disc brakes and some pretty good hardware for a sub 1k bike. Things may have changed a lot in the last 5 years so th is info may or may not be helpful.
  7. If you asked me to consider a "new" vehicle six months ago i would have laughed in your face. After the situation with my most recent purchase ( BBC Boards: When in doubt about cars--ask JerryT--and listen....... ) i am thinking about trading out of this car and buying a new truck. I have had a lot of vehicle problems over the last few years by purchasing things in the 10-15k dollar range. I've ran through 9 vehicles in my nine years of driving either because it wasnt the truck i wanted or it proved to be unreliable (the most common issue.) I really want to quit playing the car game and buy something new and keep it for many many years. What are you thoughts--no brand suggestions--just buying suggestions.
  8. guess he didn't pass the peace pipe to you..........i couldnt find it either

    very nice!!!
  10. i have a 702 plinkster for my "first time shooter friends." if it based off this it will be a reliable and relatively accurate gun through thousands of rounds.
  11. I got a few guns for my grandfather. I will NEVER part with them. You can come pry the rest out of my hands but the ones that came from family wont be going anywhere. You might enjoy this song--It gave me chills the first time heard it.
  12. Last time i was at the walmart they had a browning shotgun that retailed for $999.99. Wal-mart is stepping it up a bit
  13. I'm sure ALL LEO'S are in agreement b/c one state trooper said so...........
  14. guy that works at Mahoney's in Johnson City told me he saw two for sale at a local gun show. He said they were selling for $500. I think he had to be mistaken on what we were talking about----although "the kel tec shotgun" is pretty much a one off item
  15. I actually like the trigger on the pf9 after a few hundred rounds. I have learned to "stage" the trigger. (pull it back to a certain point of resistance--verify sight picture--then squeeze the round off.) It has allowed me to shoot it relatively well--considering the size.
  16. what are you looking for in a handgun--caliber, size, carry gun or night stand gun, etc. it will help us help you........
  17. Does anyone have any experiance with this gun? I have never owned a CZ so any info you might have on this particular pistol or the brand would be appreciated. Here's a link to the website. Thanks for the help CZ-USA -> CZ P07 DUTY
  18. when i carried a G26 i shot it MUCH better without the extension. It feels great when handling the weapon but i found it to hurt my accuracy when firing. I'd be curios how you like the grip in Gen4 after carrying it for a while. I want one but i'm just not sure if the grip will be abrasive. Post up some comments after a couple weeks if you think about it.
  19. PM sent challenger
  20. I'll just suck it up in the winter ( i carry outside in the winter and wear a coat--better practice that way also.) I pay around $75 for an annual membership at a local gun club with pistol ranges, rifle range (up to 250 yrds) skeet, trap and a competition .22 rim-fire range. No way i'm dropping $50 a visit to shoot for a couple hours. Sorry.
  21. are 4th gens fair game now? I know they had some issues early on......
  22. Maybe the G19 is the direction i need to go. I carried a 26 for a few years before i sold it off to scratch the M&P itch. I liked it--i just want something that i can enjoy at the range. G26 was fine--but not fun. This weapon also doubles as a nightstand gun for my wife--so capacity does mean something to me lol
  23. For summer carry, i lean on the Pf-9. However, i am starting to think about picking up something for winter. I am hung up on either the Glock 38 (.45 G.A.P) and the G32(.357 Sig.) I know very little about the 45GAP so some info on that round would be appreciated. I like the .357 Sig round and the ability to drop in a .40 barrel for cheaper shooting at the range. You guys have any thoughts/comments? I know the G19 would be practical since i typically carry a 9mm but for use in the winter i would like to carry a round that will handle heavy clothing and jackets without a problem. Thanks again for the help Ben Also, are the bugs worked out on the Gen4? Are these two available yet in 4th gen?
