  1. When i went to Mexico last year i was worried. Very worried. Not because i would miss a firearm--they are all accounted for in the safe. I was worried a casing for something of that nature would become a issue. Plus- i went to the range one day prior and fired 300+ rounds. However, i did literally soak my hands in rubbing alcohol before the trip. I was pulled out of the regular line in Houston and my hands were scanned (for explosives--i assume) but i passed. Not sure if it did me any good or not but they didn't hold me up ......

  11. welcome--however...i agree. We all have the right, sadly, some of us pay for that right so we dont end up in the slammer. Although constitunially wrong, its better than a good a$$ kicking
  12. clearly--it was a glock 5 shot reveolver.......
  13. i'll break the mold and cheat on the M&P....i like the G26--easy to carry and 10+1 is pretty awesome compared to the Smtih 642 that holds 5 rounds of .38

    S&W M&P 40 Pro 5

dont worry about the M&P...dang good line of guns. Mine has been reliable beyond 1000 rounds.

I don't have that particular M&P but i am a fan of the pistols and rifles. Be sure to dry fire it--the triggers are "differant" but its awesome once you get used to it!
  16. looks good!
  17. I hope over the next few years HCP holders on campus will be able to defend themselves. This is getting damn near ridiculous.......
  18. very nice. Do you carry this? I wonder how it would feel in a IWB holster for 8-12+ hrs? Don't get me wrong, i'm not knocking it, just curious if you can carry it with some level of comfort?
  19. here's a picture of the M&P 45c--in case you havent researched the size of this particular gun. They are harder to find than the full size but worth the search in my opinion
  20. Im interested in the pistol but somewhat disappointed that it does not feature the same backstraps in comparison to the full size and compact m&p's. If i coiuld practice in with the same platform i carry with the exception of caliber i would buy one in a new york min.
  21. +1
  22. a few years ago (election time) it took dam near forever. From what i hear, things have improved. I suspect it will slow down again in the near future. IT seems to spike around election time
  23. very nice!
  24. Look at the Smith and Wesson M&P 45c. It is about the same size has a G19. To me, recoil is VERY managable. I'd rather shoot it than a .40 when it comes to felt recoil. Its gonna take some trigger time with any gun to get profecient. Thats the advantage of 9mm--cheaper ammo while training.
