Personally, i like the advertised weight. I think it will make the gun very shootable--unlike some kahr's and keltec's. And yes, i drank the M&P koolaid a long time ago--this is a biased opinion without laying hands on the previously mentioned product.....

I will keep a eye out for the Dan Wesson. I really like these revolvers and i typically handle each one i see on display to see if it might like to come home with me. Did he record the serial number? I would put it in my wallet and referance against the ones i see in the area if you can obtain that informaiton.

Enjoy your G19--A G26 and G17 will be following you home shortly
-
Same here-I hate that it will be 2013 before we will see another episode. My only compliant of the series

Why would the safety be a issue? If it has other trigger and internal safeties could you not leave disengaged and accomplish the same goal?

I carry Hornady CD in .45 and 9mm, however, i am still concerned with expansion with such a short barrel. I have read that some carry flat nose fmj in small .380's for better ballistic performance. Please discuss--

Suggestions on where to shoot a 50 cal in NE TN?

What do you recommend for .380 carry ammo? I will be carry a Sig 238 from time to time. I'd love some ammo recommendatons. Also, will hollow points expand on a small caliber with such a short barrel? Thanks again.....

Poor leadership ended my Scout career. I was a Life at the time. When they awared two guys with Eagle after being caught smoking weed by leadership i decided that the award wasn't worth that much to me. But.......congrats to you for acheiving the goal! Its a honor and it set you up for success in the future.

After 3 years of carrying--i haven't tried open carry yet. The gas station i visit weekly knows that i always carry--because the keep my beer on the bottom shelf to the back.....its impossible to retrieve without printing. It set them at ease once when a customer got violent because their EBT card would not buy lottery tickets. It hit the fan but they handled him well--knowing i was armed 6 ft away with my strong arm on my firearm. No harm no foul--i wont hardly get gas anywhere else..........
-
I still don't see the point. If the #### hits the fan, are we going to be hiding the fact we have firearms? I hike but i think a handgun would be a better defense than a .22 rifle. I would rather have a 9mm hipoint carbine that shared magazines with my handgun.........

Can't wait- I told the guys at Tri-Cities gun depot to call me when the price is set. I want one ASAP. Six rounds of .45 in a small package would make a great summer gun (although i think they will be late to that party)

I have a PF-9 that was 100% reliable through 500+ rounds. I also have a sig 238 that i hope to carry in the very near future (after i run 200+ rounds through it to prove reliability). For fit and finish--the sig CANNOT be beat in a .380 These are pocket pistols--not primary in a perfect world...

Carry the PF-9. Great gun

I put in a 6ft privacy fence. Anyone purchasing the house will look on the other side (sadly)

i would think he would be violating building codes. Not to mention, he probably needs a building permit to remove a exterior wall. I can't imagine it standing too much longer--the roof is starting to sag. BUT--if the thing falls over tomorrow i am not in a better spot than i am right now......

~2.5 years ago, We purchased a small foreclosure as a starter home. We got a smoking deal on it but it did come with one issue. Our next door neighbor. Apparently, he started to remodel his home and got in WAY over his head. He basically knocked out a exterior wall and then skipped town. He has it covered with a tarp but it is a SERIOUS eyesore. After starting this little project, he has some family health issues and he has not been able to work on the house. I volunteered to work WITH him on the weekends (free of charge) to get something going but he doesn't seem interested. At this point, its been 2 years--something needs to be done. Not only does this property serve as a refuge for cats, racoons, and other stray animals; I am concerned about squatters moving in on the property. We are starting the process of shopping/buying our next home. That means we will need to get this one on the market in the near future and i know the house next door will hurt our value. Where do i go from here? Who can i report this to? I know its has to be a code violation. If i can't get this resolved, i am afraid i will end up renting this house and turning into a landlord (not something i am excited about). Any ideas? Do i have any legal options?

Nope--i haven't seen one. I heard August/September.......

very nice--that's a lot of gun to carry!

P238 is the only gun i have ever carried in my pocket successfully. I tried the j-frame and pf9 with no luck. The Sig fits well and doesn't weigh too much. I'm not a huge fan of .380 but its better than nothing when you can't conceal a compact weapon.....

I got a email this afternoon from the Kingsport Chamber of Commerce. They ask that we contact our congressman and oppose this bill. Thankfully, they gave the contact info to all the congressmen across the state. This made it really easy to contact them for the opposite reason. Below is the email--use it has you see fit......... Chamber members, The guns and ammunition in parking lots bills have gained some unexpected momentum. The Senate committees passed both bills this week which sent them to the Senate Calendar Committee to be scheduled for a floor vote. Please call your Senators and Representatives today to express your opposition to SB 3002 and SB 2992. SB3002 (Senator Faulk)/HB3560 (Representative Bass) allows for guns and ammunition to be kept in a vehicle as long as they are secured and out of sight. Business would not be able to prohibit the possession of these weapons from being on their property, nor create policies contrary to the provisions in the bill. The bill also does not allow inquiry about weapons owned, possessed, transported or used by employees. It also allows conceal and carry permit owners to possess guns on private property. Please CALL your Senator and Representative to voice your opposition to these bills. These bills are moving quickly! The General Assembly will reconvene Monday. Please call first thing Monday morning and ask to speak directly to your Senator or State Representative. Please be persistent in trying to talk directly with your Senator or Representative. You may also e-mail over the weekend, or speak with them about this important issue if you see them in the district. Here are some talking points that might be helpful: Private property rights must be protected. Employers must provide a safe environment for employees, customers and guests. The bills don't limit the number or types of firearms a person can have in their vehicle. A new protected class of citizens with a risk for more and bigger law suits is a JOBS KILLER.
