  3. Titan's Win!! Finally
  4. interesting so far--hopefully the wont play the secound half like UT
  5. get a 9mm. You *shouldnt* be carrying a handgun based on your age. I see no reason to shoot a .380 of any make or model at the range if you aren't training for carry.
  6. I'd say you would be in the minority-i honestly doubt anyone else on the boards uses one of these. And if they do, i don't know that they would admit to it publically. Just my .02
  7. very nice!!
  8. NIce rig!!
  9. Looks like TGO David could use some prayers and thoughts. May God be with you and your family throughout this difficult time. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/53142-sept-29-all-forum-business-on-hold-until-further-notice/#entry821754
  10. whatever makes you happy(legally)--as for me, no thanks
  11. I suggest you always carry what you are happy with. However, i would look at some other options when possible. 9x18 beats the heck out being unarmed. At the same time, i try to stick with "service calibers" (9mm, .40, 357 mag, 357 sig .45ACP) POlice departments and goverment agencys have more money and experiance researching firearms than i ever will. I try to go with what they carry
  12. dang--why not 229?
  13. what firearms? When he is around, i wouldn't talk about anything past a BB gun. How does he know you have guns? Limit you liability--keep your mouth shut. If you have a agreemnt with him it in writing!! He said she said isn't worth crap in court. Cover your ass with documentation--not conversation!!
  14. Wow-- Lady forgets it she has a gun then the cop fires it into a wall while trying to clear the weapon. Thank goodness he followed one of the rules of gun ownership--never point a gun at anything your not willing to shoot. http://news.yahoo.com/flight-attendant-tries-bring-loaded-gun-airport-security-192728626--abc-news-topstories.html As a side note, I always worry about meeting a inexperienced officer who would want to disarm me in a traffic stop. I really don't want anyone else drawing a weapon that's on my person. Case and point posted above
  15. Enjoy the game!
  16. Get your quotes then get in touch with me. I am in the HVAC business--i would be happy to help explain the jargon and answer any questions (including pricing) you might have. Don't worry, your way outside of our service area so i won't be selling you anything
  17. I have finished 30% of the book. Nothing new but i do have several close friends in Spec Ops (both army and navy) so i hear the jargon on a regualr basis. I'm interested i nthe book but i will hold judgment on the amount of info offered when i finish my reading.......
  18. Wow--you just admited to mexi carry on the interwebs. Anyway, i carry a G19 or Sig 229 in the winter. The belt is the key. Get a gun belt and a good holster.
  19. I have a jar set aside to buy one of these. It may be 20 years own the road but i will own on. NICE GUN!!!!
  20. This man can help you get one--if you meet this criteria http://biggeekdad.com/2011/10/kellers-riverside-store/

    SIG TACOPS

    Looks great!!
  22. Maybe we stayed out too late (the main reason i didn't carry). When we got on the MARTA it was 25% full of bums and thugs.
  23. If full size is too large and sub compact is too small look at some options in the middle. The Glock line offers the 23. I like the Sig 229 a lot but it is a little heavy.
  24. Good looking gun
