  1. What about if you are a teacher? I have a buddy that is in the process of getting his HCP. He asked and I couldn't give him a quick answer if he could leave it locked up in the car or not. Thanks, Mark
  2. Well, I escaped last time but now I am on it. I guess we need to push during the next session to get this crap stopped Mark
  3. Can someone remind me what restaurants he owns so I can dodge them? thanks
  4. If I understand it, this lawsuit states that the servers and owners constitutional rights have been violated? Exactly which right are they stipulating as violated? Mark
  5. That is an interesting book. Not written like a typical book. Much more of a stream of consciousness. Mostly it looks like notes of things he liked from various classes he took. A lot of the training books are kind of dry and repetitive, at least to me. I liked this one more than most. Mark
  6. I like how you think sir. I have a few friends that travel out of the country. I stock up whenever I can. I've kind of moved away from bourbon but I like to serve it to guests... Mark
  7. 239 .40 in a MTAC is everyday except when cold enough to layer then it gets a little bigger... Mark
  8. hmmm... Are you using it as bait to see if you can catch something larger? Those grips look nice. I currently have a set of hogues on my 232. I put them on there for my wife but now that she has her own 229 she "gave" me back my 232. I just might have to get a set of these Nills grips... mark

  11. I voted Sunday but I think I can make either... Mark
  12. another 239 vote. That is my daily carry... I switch between carrying it in 40 and 357 sig.
  13. Yep, 2 classes. One was the defensive handgun. It was in conjunction with a couple of the smaller PD departments down there. Very well run and the instruction was great. I took a 2nd class with my wife. It was a trial class and not advertised. It was basically a teamwork class so that you can learn to work with your spouse to eliminate a threat or work together to safely withdraw. This class didn't have as much shooting as it was mostly about tactics and communication. I can say my wife was pretty apprehensive but by the end of the day she was really in to it. She felt the class was safe and very well controlled. We worked hard and had a blast. I'm hoping he does more of the couples classes and comes up with some follow on curriculum. Tiger and Gretchen are really nice folks. Their place is a little low tech but is a great place to shoot. Mark
  14. I'm in... as far as I can figure not knowing the dates yet. I already have most of my $$ for 2010 classes saved up. I would like to know if we do this can we get them to come back for the 2nd class? Maybe in 2011? I would like to try the next stage before I have to get the walker out... Mark
  15. Sig 228 for me...
  16. Well, I guess we need to do some unanimous voting soon as well...
  17. I wish I could have attended. it was right in my backyard. But, still stuck at the beach in NC. I would like to know about how many people showed up. Also, I will be stopping by to support this business. Mark
  18. This is the type of information that needs to be communicated. Start getting in peoples pockets and they will start paying attention...
  19. So I'm pretty new to Williamson County and haven't been through an election here yet. I'm assuming the sheriff is an elected position. How has this sheriff been on 2a issues in general? When is he due for re-election? Lastly, who hires the parks director? Maybe we need to get in touch with his boss. I'm betting that person is also elected... Mark

    Rental Ranges

If you are talking about next weekend then Uselton's will be open. They are closed for this weekend. Also, The Franklin Gun Shop has a good selection of guns to look at but no range. Also, another vote for Guns and Leather. Good selection and good folks there
  21. So do we have any confidence that the AG (who works for the guy that vetoed the bill originally) will rigorously defend the law? Mark
  22. pretty darn sweet...
  23. Well, we will be there. It isn't very far for us but if some folks were going to bring campers we would too. Nothing quite like sitting around the campfire telling stories about guns and football and stuff...
  24. Leaving on vaca the 11th and returning on the 19th. Maybe next month. Mark
  25. well, no rain drops that I saw. It was nice meeting some new folks. Also, thanks for the help sighting in. Mark
