Does anyone make a tuckable IWB mag carrier? Right now I use my back pocket. I already have the gun on my strong side and 2 cell phones on the weak side. If I could have something else it would have to be hidden. Makes it hard to carry a flashlight too. I've been thinking about a Galco ankle safe. I like my ankle glove and this would be pretty accessible when crouched. Anyone have one? Galco holsters; Holsters; Gun holster, pistol holsters, western holsters, shoulder holsters, leather holster and Glock holsters

Maybe 1 or 2. Try not to drink much when working with power tools and saws. Mark

I did a lot of patterning over the last few months. The federal performed 2nd best for me in my gun. Hornady TAP did best for me. Both did better than several higher end types. Mark

I'm going to be batching it that weekend. So far my only plans are to build a bench for some reloading stuff that Santa is rumored to bring. So, if anyone wants to shoot any new (or old) toys they get please let me know... Or, if anyone wants to help build a work bench... ( I know, not much fun) Mark

I'm in ok shape for a sudden outbreak of zombies with store bought stuff. But, soon I will be in great shape. Mark

Nice pics Mr Jones. I think we camped in that campground a couple of years back. We either camped there or took a day trip there to take some pics. You had more water flowing than we did. We were there during the drought... Mark

Greg, they are not on the website. You just kind of have to know about them apparently. Call over there and they will tell you if they have any in stock or not. They still had sopme yesterday. Small rifle primers too... I looked though their catalog yesterday while I waited. They have some pretty cool stuff. Mark

something in 223 with a suppressor to keep the town folks happy

A good 2-point sling would fit your budget

Brings me back to my Nylon 66 days... All the young'uns go what? He wore nylons? Man I miss that gun. Good on you for taking your step-son out for his own gun. I tried to take my nephews to the range while they were here visiting from NC and I thought both of their parents were going to stroke out right in my living room... Mark

Range report needed: guns and gear expo,
Mark A replied to HillbillyMafia's topic in Events and Gatherings
^^^^Do not want this ^^^^ I was unable to get out of some prior commitments to attend the show but the only reason I was going to go was I heard it was NOT going to be the same old thing. I very rarely buy at the normal gun shows as there aren't any good deals. I would much rather there be a limited supply of dealers that are interested in dealing and have good quality guns for sale. Got mine today, thanks for the info. I am FINALLY getting my act together to start reloading. It is pretty much all I am getting for presents this year. I was really worried about primer availability. At least now I can get started on the 26th... Mark

Damn, I thought I was going to be the only write in vote for Suh... He is a stud. I bet he wins more of the other awards than anyone else ever has. It's good to see there are some real fans here that know the game instead of just the headlines. Mark

I went out to the tennessean website and did a search and found the article. NOthing earth shattering in the article. It was a very short paragraph Now I have to go clean my computer of the nastiness you get from just being near the Tennessean site

Patrick, I have my 239 on right now in a comp-tac MTAC and it is very comfortable. I wear mine in the 4-5 position and have the pistol canted with the barrel back just a small bit. Besides being very comfortable, the MTAC can be fitted with different sleeves so if you decide to get a different pistol all you have to do is order the corresponding sleeve and you don't have to buy a completely different holster. Depending on what you add to the mix you can get the slide version of their sleeve and accommodate different size pistols if they are in the same family (like a glock 26 and 19). I have sleeves for my 239 and 228/229 both rail and non rail versions. I also have the Gladiator from comp-tac. It also has the ability to have different sleeves so when I want to wear OWB I can carry my 239, 228/229's or my 226 by just changing the kydex part. It seems to be a fairly economical solution for me. I live in Franklin and also work pretty close to you. If you want to see how it fits drop me an e-mail and we can set it up. Mark

Thanks for the continuing info... I'm going to keep my eye out for a used one as I make my rounds through the various gun stores in Nashville. Eventually I will find one and give it a try. RBL, I was just in Tullahoma a couple of days ago. I've got a couple of my guys working down there on a small job. If I have to go back down there I will give you a shout, thanks Mark

Thanks TNShooter. Hopefully I will find one close to shoot in the next few months. I've been saving my brass for a while and I am finally starting to reload so hopefully the cost for practice won't be too bad. I just really like the way the round shoots. Very flat and for me it has less felt recoil than 40 does. Mark

I'm looking for first hand info on the 33. I have a 26 that I really like for my BUG. However, I've been trying to standardize on .357 sig as a carry round as I really like it. Anyone have a 33 and like it? Hate it? thanks, Mark
-
.357 sig is by far my favorite round. Except for my BUG it is what I carry in all my weapons. Mark

went old school (for me) today with my first sig, a 228 in a comptac gladiator -
Not sure if glocks have changed or if there is something about the g26 but I bought one the other day. So far it is the only one that fits my grip comfortably. Does that mean I have to buy a 19? Mark

Texas AG suing Chicago's Mayor Daley
Mark A replied to E4 No More's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I wonder if there is any interest in actually going after Bloomburg? I would think there are a few AG's mad at his sending "undercover operatives" out to try to make other states look bad over gun show laws. I would contribute to this effort Mark -
Straight No Chaser in the player right now...

I think the JATO's are about all gone. I was at a Blue Angels show earlier this year and they mentioned that Fat Albert would have to stop doing the JATO part due to being out of rockets... Mark
