  1. I know you said locally but... I order zero bullets all the time and they shoot great mark
  2. 2-3 aspirin and as much water as you can drink before you go to bed works great
  3. I'm glad you guys had a good time
  4. If I went out on the porch to shoot a coyote in my underwear and the coyote had looked right at me I wouldn't have needed the gun. Pretty sure it would have just keeled right over, DRT... I'm just sayin... Mark
  5. About the only good thing about the 5 years I lived in Atlanta was getting to listen to Boortz... Hannity was local there too until he took the NY gig.
  6. I was thinking along these lines this morning. I wonder what it would take to get night vision scopes approved for varmints? At least, for coyotes and hogs... Best to petition the TWRA or work through local state legislators? Mark
  7. Cool, give us details!!!
  8. I like it... I put the smaller coyote special on my sig 556 and the larger one on my 22-250 (really hoping for some prairie dogs with that one...) Finally got the sig sighted in and about where I want it and then it got hot. I'm in the commercial a/c business so free time is sometimes at a premium during the summer. Really hoping to get out and make a dent in some local populations soon. Mark
  9. Arch, Ashland City is NW of Nashville so maybe 3 hours away from Chattanooga
  10. Here is a nice clean set up with a single stage on it. I have a great thread tucked away somewhere with a bunch of cool setups on it. One I remember a guy went to home depot and bought some floor model kitchen base cabinets. He put a small counter top between 2 of them and mounted his press on it. Total width was about 5 feet. He made it easy to pull the press off and used it as a food/beverage bar whenever he had guests over. DIY Ammunition Reloading Bench Also, scroll down to the bottom of this page and look at the tool box. Very handy if a bit industrial looking Pictures of your reloading bench/equipment - Page 6 - TheFiringLine Forums
  11. Probably yet another thread about the revolver looking grill trailer
  12. Byrnemm, where in Mid Tn are you? I have (43) 38 special range pick ups that are looking for a good home. I live in Franklin and work at 440 & Nolensville. If we can make it easy they are yours... Mark
  13. Remember, you don't have to be faster than the bear, just faster than your pregnant wife... Of course, I kid. My rationale is the same as yours. Most wild animals would rather not be around us. However, there is always that chance of a rabid or otherwise sick animal that might not be thinking of the normal rules. Mark
  14. well, cool. I've got a buddy that has an M1. He doesn't shoot it much anymore. I need to get some dies and make him up some ammo. If he doesn't shoot it then it might become "mine"...

    Chattanooga Trip

One other dining suggestion is Terra Nostra on the north shore. It can be a little pricey but the food is great and if you like wine they usually have a great selection. Ask them for something not on the wine list as they usually pick up a few special items that are on sale for the week. The menu is tappas style have fun, Mark
  16. Can just anyone invite themselves to the party? I have a new 40 load I need to shoot and was thinking about dropping by Charlie's place after work today Mark
  17. wow, probably DRT...
  18. Watch me get run out of here: The Matrix... never found anything to like about that movie
  19. I don't carry hollow points for fear that it will get clogged in fur. That may not be the case but it sounded good in my small mind. Mark
  20. I'm about out of 55 gr and moving to 62 gr. However, after reading this thread on the Sig 556 forum I'm seriously thinking of moving up to the 75 gr loads. I have shot a couple of boxes of Privi 75 gr match and they were very accurate... SIG 556 :: View topic - .223 Rem 75GR HPBT Reloads

    Sig owners?

Sigs are my main thing... It all started with a 228 in 1994. Possibly the only thing good to come out of the original ban... I was lucky enough to pick up a new 228R for my wife a few months ago. It is very sweet shooting. I wish I could find a DAK something to let my wife try. She sometimes struggles with the DA/SA transition... Mark
  22. AS said, Kroger has the mexican version of coke. Also, if there is a whole foods store near you I think all of their soft drinks are made with cane sugar. A little more pricey but they sure taste good...

    Great Story

    that was pretty good...
  24. As far as Gold Dots are concerned, the design of the bullet is slightly different. It expands at a slightly lower velocity to make sure proper expansion happens
  25. In addition to tarp etc Wamp promised to only run for a couple of terms when he was first elected. Once he got up there he quickly changed his tune and served a total of 6 terms (If I remember correctly). So, for me: 1) Ramsey 2) Wamp 3) Consider moving?? Mark
