  1. Please don't total it up. Some of us told our wives we would save money if they let us start reloading...
  2. I like dobies but I gotta admit that smith is a little spooky looking...
  3. They seem to have a lot more reloading supplies than before.
  4. Now that it has cooled off a bit I hope to get back into hunting some yotes. I might even be able to go this Saturday.
  5. I too am a member. I've seen comments here and there lately about it getting harder to get approved. I don't know if they are trying to constrain growth for bandwidth reasons or if there is some other reason. There doesn't appear to be any pattern that I can detect as to who does or does not get approved. I think that it may be that the mods are just really busy with their real lives... Mark
  6. My guess is that it will be a zoo...
  7. interesting... You would think their web page would mention this.
  8. Damn, once the dude got a gun that worked he sure didn't mind using a few rounds... But, who needs to go to the mall to shop? I just don't support business that want to locate where they want to restrict my ability to carry. I'm all about supporting local vendors but if I can't find a local vendor not in a mall then net here I come...
  9. That made me laugh seeing as he is from Alaska. I can just see Jeffster scratching his head and saying: "There are different kinds of winter?" Or associating the words winter and good together... Probably not, up there...
  10. Call Guns and Leather. Seems like they had some last week when I was up there

    TN vs Oregon....

I was not a big Peyton fan when he was at UT. I felt they tried to do too much to showcase him instead of worrying about winning... However, even though I don't watch much pro ball I'm a pretty big fan of him now. He is a hard worker at the top of his game and I can always appreciate that. Mark
  12. I took a class from them earlier this year and really enjoyed it. I already had the rest of my year planned out or I would have taken more from them. They are on my list for 2011 Have fun
  13. All good reasons to buy a 5.56 pistol... :-)
  14. In-n-out sucks... Kind of like everyone wanting coors until you could get it everywhere...
  15. What is your primary photographic interest? That will help decide which sensor size to get. Also, are you heavily invested in crop sensor only lenses?
  16. I just got the DVD's this week. Just about through the first one and really enjoying it. Going to have to check out their website for that t-shirt. I'm a t-shirt kind of guy...
  17. Glockster, I've run a couple thousand 9mm and a few hundred .40 reloads with wolf primers. I just started reloading this year and at that was all I could get to start with. I've since been able to find CCI and others. I will continue to buy wolf if I can find them at a good price. What I have noticed is that over the last few weeks primer prices seem to be dropping like a rock. I finally built up my reserve to get through a lean time and prices tanked. Just my usual luck... I bought a bunch of CCI primers a few weeks back from Powder Valley. I think they were 23 or 24 bucks per thousand and no tax... Mark
  18. Plus no reloads, very restrictive caliber list and on and on... I try to support local vendors but the amount of money I spent there in one year was ridiculous. I joined at Owl Hollow and G&L and still have money left over for a class or 2...
  19. DesJarlais winning didn't surprise me at all. He was out by far the first and the hardest with a ton and radio and TV. I think he had it locked up before a lot of the others started running. In my opinion there were better candidates but he is still going to be better than what we have had...
  20. I would like to interview her "so what did it feel like to be completely at the mercy of someone else when you could have had the ability to protect yourself?" It just shows that it can and will happen anytime/anywhere...
  21. I also took a class there and enjoyed it. I plan on taking more classes there. I think they provide a good value... Mark
  22. But that doesn't have anything to do with coyotes right? hah!, Mark
  23. And today the brown truck brought my goodies... Now if it wasn't too hot to reload in my as yet un-air-conditioned bonus room
  24. I didn't know who they were and just ordered a ton of primers from Powder Valley. However, when I looked they didn't have anything in stock. But that was about a week ago
  25. 1) appealing the stay seems to me to add legitimacy to the thought that the feds have power over the state in this issue 2) Ignore the stay, what is the judge going to do? Do any of us really think the military or the FBI are going to shoot citizens if they stand up for this?
