Everyone has permission to buy a black rifle !
hardknox00001 replied to Dustbuster's topic in General Chat
Hmm, now I have to figure out which attack helicopter an AH-15 is...... -
This is cool. Would be a big push to get me started with the black rifle disease.

Wut? Eyes glazing over.........pondering ceiling colors............ :dunno: :)

If you guys want to go in together on a private TGO plane, I'll fly it for you, where ever you want to go.

Roger that. Was giving specifics as to why the price was a little higher than the ordinary back yard shooting gallery stuff, not attacking. I appreciate the word being put out. I went and got some of the 2.99/50 rd boxes they had last week because of the post on here. Hadn't been to the Outpost in a good while before that.

That's the high velocity, jacketed, hollow point stuff and other "special" .22, not the garden variety bs .22 for general shooting.

Destructive 9mm ammunition

Hey......I resemble that remark  -
Boro Officer ... bullet proof vest, person-to-person sale = trouble
hardknox00001 replied to Peace's topic in General Chat
The hulabaloo in the story is because he sold a department issued vest, not a personally owned vest. Had it been the latter, you wouldn't have heard about it. It would be the same thing as if he sold the squad car with all the stuff in it. -
Who knew... Liberty Safes must be making front doors now
hardknox00001 replied to Sam1's topic in General Chat
You don't even know how true that is, especially with houses built out of that efis/stucco/dryvit stuff. That stuff is nothing more than a cheap styrofoam beer cooler with a skiff of a colored concrete dust "paint" over the top. Most of the time, the wall is only the efis, then exterior grade drywall, then air with insulation (between the studs) then the interior drywall and your in. You could cut your way in between the studs with a weed whacker. -
His buds call him by his nickname.......Lucky

I guess I should have had this in before I posted above but, I know that it'll never happen, it was just wishful sitting on the pot thinking. :)

I thought about this the other day. I wondered it they just quit putting it out for a while until they have enough to fill the shelves a couple of times on hand, then put it out. If you could see that the shelf was full and could stay that way, the hoarding and reselling would stop I would think. They could put a "coming soon, a full shelf" sign out and just pile it up at the warehouse until they had enough.

If they haven't been in the water too long and it's not to deep, I'd at least think about getting them out to see what kind of shape they're in.

So you want to see a picture of some of the Walmart problem?
hardknox00001 replied to hardknox00001's topic in General Chat
I don't facebook and I've never been on armslist, so have at it. Edit: I went and looked at armslist to see what it was. In the Saturdays listings somebody has a Remington bucket that was recently sold from Outpost on there for double what Outpost sold it for. -

Another guy standing there said the same thing. I said that if I knew the names of the fellows, I would go get the chairs embroidered with their names and have them set out when they got there. He laughed. -

In this case, because they knew this was a hot load and people waiting, they rolled the cart from the stock area to behind the register around 8:15 or so and opened the boxes to put on the tax stamp. Then the .22 and the 9mil was set in the box next to the register. Ammo boxes went from delivery box to register scan to walmart sack to customer. -

Walmart stock. Somebody else showed up somewhere around the 8:15 mark and they pulled another chair out of stock and set it up for them. -
Glad to hear of this. I too keep hearing that I'm not invincible anymore either. Just earlier today I was challenged to do a summersault, as if I couldn't. I'll have to wait til everybody is gone to try and see first. :nervous:

Took this at the Old Fort Murfreesboro location about 8 pm. Sign says all ammo received comes out at 8:30 pm no exceptions. I hung around for a bit to watch and then thought about the discussions on here about taking pictures, so here is a picture. I overheard a snippet of a conversation between the guy in the red seated and the other seated guy. Guy in red said he sells all the .22 he gets for .10 a round. That's double what WM charges. The other seated guy must be a hoarder as he says he doesn't sell much but has 4,000 rounds at the house. The guy standing is talking to someone just to his right that I couldn't get in the picture for obvious reasons. I was trying to be discrete in taking the pics as to not get a disturbance started. All 4 guys are regulars as the Walmart guy spoke to each using first names at different times while I was there. This location got in 3 boxes of 1000 round .22 and 10 boxes of the 555 round Winchester .22. They were all gone by the sixth person in line, with the fifth buying the last box of .22 and 2 boxes of the 9mm that came in also.

If you have an air compressor of decent size, you can go to an automotive body shop supply house that sells paint and they'll sell you an acrylic enamal that can be mixed to match as close as possible. It comes in three parts, the paint, the hardener, and the reducer. Do a little masking and buff it in when dry and you'll probably hardly notice. Don't skimp on prep, all the work should go there, the paint is just coloring the work.

I see the LE6920MP for $1199, the basic 6920 for $1099 and a used trade in with the carry handle for $899. This all on page 33 of the CDNN online catalog. Where is this deal you speak of?

Is spelling and punctuation a thing of the past?
hardknox00001 replied to Westwindmike's topic in General Chat
I think you can go ahead and say that the education system as a whole is not what it once was. If you can find them, read some textbooks from the 40's and 50's and compare to today's textbooks. I think in general you will find today's higher level high school books are the 40's and 50's elementary textbooks. I would say that it is a combination of things like need the kids to score better so my evaluation is good and we don't want to hurt their self-esteem by allowing them to score low grades as to why the books have been dumbed down. That being said, I know I'm not an English genius but I do try to use correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation where I can.
