Recently purchased one of these. It's a nice shooter. I have "medium" hands and the default backstrap is fine for me. Strangely mine had trouble with Monarch brass ammo however Winchester white box works fine. It may simply be a "break in" problem I haven't put that many rounds through it yet. When field stripping the slide does not come all the way forward as you might expect. It lifts up and off when about an inch or so from its normal position. Worth noting. Excellent pistol

Up for sale a Ruger M77 tang safety in 25-06. Original red butt pad. I have owned for a long time and rarely shot it Includes pictured scope which is a Tasco 4x16. It has some significant scratches on the tube. Included Butler Creek caps. The glass is clear. The blueing is good other than some wear at the muzzle from where I imagine it sits in the safe. Comes with four boxes of ammo (pictured) and he attached leather sling. Asking $950.00. Will travel around fifty miles from Lenoir City area to accommodate sale for an established TGO member. Spring - well it's on the way - and time to move a few out. This package will include 340 rounds of Brown Bear ammo and 60 rounds of loose 7.62 x 39 for which I do not recognize the headstamp. Pictured below. Comes with the scoped mounted dust cover and the original. Includes two 30-round magazines and one 5-round. I've owned this for several years and shot only a few times. While red dots and such are fun to shoot. My perception is that target acquisition is slower than regular sights. From an EDC point of view, it simply compounds the concealment issue. I'll still shoot both. Lasers belong on the range, however. At least that's my take.
