That happens everyday. The cops do it as part of their job because they care about other people. 99% of them will never tell anyone about it. It is a non story to the media. A cop doing something wrong happens much less frequently and is what the media wants to cover.

I had a similar experience a few years ago. I immediately throw their sales flyers in the trash. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/57325-southern-ohio-gun-rant/

Will Hayden (Sons of Guns) arrested for child molestaion "allegedly"
Karnage replied to Lumber_Jack's topic in General Chat
Sexual predators have a certain age, among other things, that "interests" them. With most predators, they will not be interested in a victim whose age is off by even a year or two. The predators will trade older/younger victims to other predators. It is not uncommon at all for a predator to start molesting a victim at a certain age. -
http://www.odmp.org/officer/22175-patrolman-ii-nickolaus-schultz Officer Nickolaus Schultz was shot and killed while investigating reports of an evicted tenant moving back in to his condominium on the 8200 block of Lincoln Circle. The subject was wearing body armor and exchanged fire with officers, striking Officer Schultz in the head. The subject was shot and killed at the scene. Officer Schultz was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center where he was kept on life support until Sunday morning. Officer Schultz had served with the Merrillville Police Department for thirteen months.

Tasers don't always work. There is no way that I would stake my life on a Taser. I personally have had numerous instances where Tasers were totally ineffective. Either a prong missed, didn't penetrate clothing, deflected by a zipper or button, prongs too close together, etc. It is purported that Brown fought with the officer and struggled with him over the officer's handgun. The officers eye socket, (skull fracture/serious bodily injury) was allegedly broken during this fight, almost certainly obscuring his vision and possibly causing other physical issues. Brown, a man the size of a NFL lineman, roughly 6'4" and 300 lbs, came toward the officer to re engage. I am sure that the officer was thinking Brown was going to take his gun and kill him with it. This scenario does not even put Brown's friend, Dorian Johnson, into play. If Brown tackled the officer and held him down, Johnson could have easily disarmed the officer. Brown could have fled after the initial fight but he didn't. He chose to get back into the fight and it cost him his life. I am not a small guy but Brown is about 3" taller than me, weighs about 65 lbs more than me and is less than half my age. If I were in the same scenario, Brown had fractured my skull and tried to disarm me. I would probably not allow him to return to the fight because he probably would kill me. I would not expect anyone to take a severe beating, causing serious bodily injury, and not defend themselves.

Do it yourself with synthetic. Advance or Autozone always has oil change specials. It usually costs me around $30 and 20 minutes of my time. I have used full synthetic exclusively for about 10 years and my cars are just getting broken in 185,000 miles on one and 126,000 on the other.

I don't have any idea. Maybe $30 - $50. You might find a TGO member close that would do it for you cheaper. Some Sigs are a PITA to put sights on. I have broken pins in my sight tool both times I have installed sights on my Sig P6.

Ridiculously cheap ($32.99) for a set of Siglite night sights. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=181489362898 I ordered two sets and received them yesterday. They are new and seem to be genuine. I just finished installing a set on my 226. The seller has different heights so check your sight numbers before you order

Priceline is the way to go. I rented a mid size car, from Hertz using Priceline's name your own price, in May that normally was $29 a day for $10 a day. Last thanksgiving I rented an SUV, from Budget Priceline's name your own price, that was normally $49 a day for $20 a day. Start your bid low and work your way up. Priceline will try to "trick" you by saying your bid is too low before you submit it. Submit the bid anyway and it might be accepted.

M&P Shield will be released with no thumb safety
Karnage replied to maroonandwhite's topic in Handguns
I hope that it is true. I have been hearing that since the shield was released. I got tired of waiting last year. -
229 magazines will work. 226 magazines will work but will hang out of the bottom of the grip. If I remember correctly Mecgar makes the factory magazines for Sig. Greg Cote usually has good prices on Sig mags. https://www.gregcotellc.com/cart/index.php

Sorry for your loss. I had the opportunity to hear him speak at my church when I was a teenager. He was an amazing person.
