I second this. I’ve had a BCM Recce 16, and absolutely loved it. Rocksolid platform with minimal reliability issues. My guess is that 5.56 will continue to be cheaper than Creedmoor and 308. I also have an 6.5 creedmore bolt gun. Love using it for my longer distance platform and wouldn’t want to have a semi auto due to ammo prices alone. Also allows for more ammo when rucking by staying 5.56. Just my two cents.

Yes. Daniel Defense doesn’t make piston platforms to my knowledge.
