  1. Chattanoogan.com Web Poll Should local cities ban guns in their parks? Yes 55% No 45% 1267 votes
  2. The site details say married and straight but I have my doubts. My gaydar was screaming.
  3. Very good! It could be a bit more challenging perhaps. I think I could get a bingo in the first aisle.
  4. I'm not certain on this but I from the information I've been able to gather, to be in a gang you must have a lack of understanding on how a belt works and the inability to determine the proper orientation of headgear.
  5. I guess it's time to clean out the closet to make some room!
  6. Well, next time I'll be ready! By the way, OS, I have ammo and stripper clips now for the Carcano I have. I know you want to shoot it.
  7. Y'all been stirring up this Mosin kool-aid and it's pretty potent stuff. I took just a sip and wound up with this 91/30. From the discussion here, I believe I must have gotten a bad deal. This one looks too nice, clean and shiny. I'm thinking I should leave it out in the yard for a few weeks then drag it behind my car for a day or two. I got 80 rounds of copper casing ammo with it. I hope it's safe to shoot. Can't wait to get it to a range. I held a couple of Carcanos but they just weren't speaking to me. This Mosin reached right out and grabbed me as I walked by. It came with the spike bayonet, sling, ammo pouch, tool kit, oil can, and the cleaning rod. This thing's nearly as tall as I am. I know, it didn't happen if there's no pictures, so...
  8. Just take it to the range and "become one with it". Any excuse to go shoot.
  9. Actually, I believe I've got a few years on you. Maurice's BBQ in Lexington is pretty good I'm just not nuts about the mustard based sauce they use in those parts. I'm a west NC boy and prefer the red over the yellow.
  10. Sorry, no good strip clubs as I remember.
  11. Hey, that looks like me when I come out of the pool on a cold day.
  12. I used to live there. Had 10 acres on Lake Murray with my own boat ramp and dock. And yep, not much going on there other than the lake. If you go a few miles to Columbia, there's a decent museum and a pretty good live music scene as is usual around a college town. Used to see Hootie and the Blowfish before they were big. Now, dare I say it....if were a different time of the year, and you were a Gamecocks fan...
  13. I avoid Gatlinburg like I avoid the clap. Two wheels or four. I don't have the patience needed to drive in that traffic. And I used to live in Atlanta.
  14. They have Sheilas.
  15. I ran (well, actually walked fast) to the safe to check and I couldn't find it on the rifle but I checked the S&W website and it says 5.56 or .223. I guess I'm safe. Thanks!
  16. So, help me out here. You can buy from an out of state dealer in person? Is this just in some states? What's the scoop?
  17. Could someone elaborate on the .223/5.56 thing. I don't want to blow up either. I've been shooting 5.56 in my M&P15.
  18. In Australia Foster's is considered tourist beer. The beer I saw most Australians drink is Victoria Bitters or as they say VB. And kangaroo is tourist meat. Skippy can be found dead on the side of the road like possum are here.
  19. I got a letter from S&W today with a shipping label to send in my Model 22A for a recall. I called them to ask about the turnaround and they said about three weeks. I'll sure miss it while it's gone. There is also one on some Walther PPK and PPK/S pistols. 20. Very nice!
  21. Way to go Dad! Activies like this really help to create a bond with your kids and memories that will not be forgoten. The country needs more Dads like you. That's a fine looking smile on that young man's face. I don't think there's much you could have done to make him look any happier.
