  1. I go armed every day. I couldn't open the door without my arms. I do wish I could take them off at night and hang them up beside the bed.
  2. Ok, I might consider it an exception if it's Pink Floyd. Still a nice pic.
  3. I just got a Russian Nagant revolver from AIM Surplus for $79.95. It shoots 7.62 Nagant, 32 S&W Long, or 32 H&R Magnums. It would make a great beginner's revolver. Not to mention the history that comes along with it. Here's a link: AIM Surplus and Used Handguns Surplus and Used Handguns
  4. Very nice picture CT. It's great to see women that have not found it necessary to "decorate" themselves with tattoos. You're right, $200 well spent. Ummm....where did you spend this $200? I might have a couple hundred for my wife to spend.
  5. I'll eat it
  6. A business operator with some common sense. Refreshing.
  7. I lost it
  8. Exceeds three words
  9. Finally made it
  10. Found this. http://www.tennesseefirearms.com/law_regs/postedletters/tdot.pdf
  11. Sure seems like I have seen a letter from TDOT or TDOS stating that signs were posted at rest areas mistakenly. The intention was that the facillities were to be posted as no guns by employees. I thought I saw it here on TGO. Anyone else remember something like that or am I needing medication?

    Advice on 45 carry

I think the Commander is generally refered to as a 4" barrel. Here's a link to the specs on the CBOB. They say "4.25" series 70 style". In the specs it says 4.3". CZ-USA -> DAN WESSON Commander Classic Bobtail
  13. Awesome!
  14. Here's a link to the cover your butt form. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/trading-post-notices-faqs/8-suggested-form-face-face-firearms-sale-transfer.html
  15. Just document your sale, verify the ID of the purchaser, and keep your documentation. You can download forms for a sale to help with this right here on TGO. It's not a requirement but it may cover your butt.

    Advice on 45 carry

It is a problem having such a beautiful gun. The CBOB looks like a Sunday Go To Meeting piece and handles like a dream. I got a tiny mark on mine and cried for six days. Too pretty to beat it around everyday but handles so well and is so dependable you don't want to leave it home. The CBOB Syndrome. I bought it to use but love it too much to abuse. I have to keep telling myself it's a gun, it's made to carry and shoot. Would you buy a beautiful new car and not drive it?

    Advice on 45 carry

4 1/4" "Commander" on my DW CBOB. A full size 5" is considerd a "Government" and a shorty is a "Compact" or "Officer" when talking 1911s. The Commander is mid size.
  19. idle sixteen hours?
  20. Those little league games sound about as wild and dangerous as the bars in Tennessee. I guess bats and guns don't mix. Good to see that at least the majority in this case came to their senses. Or more likely after the calls and emails they received, they began to see an opt out as political suicide. We do have a voice if we make the effort to be heard.
  21. Bluemax, that's the funniest thing I've heard in some time. I'm sure we all can relate, though perhaps to not as great a degree.
  22. Work on houseboat
  23. Excursion is cancelled
  24. Thanks for advice
