I went into Cherokee Park today. No change in the signage.

I feel bad now for giving mosinon crap for making excuses for not going. And I can't even use football as an excuse.

Got mine this week and the letter opener cut the form in half. Do you think they'll take it taped together?

Did you do the gold fill and if so what was the process?

Too many things on the agenda today as a result of being out of town for a couple weeks. We're just not going to be able to make it today. We'll miss shooting with you all. I'm glad I have a good job but it sure can be an inconvenience sometimes.

You must first be mentaly prepared to quit and recognize that you, and only you, are in control. Don't let an undesired temporary need beat you. You must be stronger than the need. If you give in, you lost the battle. Look at the need as a weakness and if you give in you have let yourself down. Don't get beat. Be strong. Be in control. You can do it. Not only will you save money, feel better, and smell better, you'll have respect for yourself.

The Morristown city council was supposed to address the guns in parks issue this past week. I was out of town and could not attend and have been trying to find out the results of the meeting. There seems to be no mention in the online edition of the Morristown paper and Google couldn't help. Anybody know what happened?

I'm a football fan too but football....shooting....hmmm....shooting wins. You can listen to a football game on the radio with earbuds inside earmuffs. I'm not sure this is a valid excuse but I guess it's just more room for the rest of us. I just kind of figured anyone with Mosin in their name would fit right in.

I just talked with Blackbeltchick and it looks like we'll try to make it. She has acquired a Mosin of her own and we need to play dueling Mosins. I hope Mike's bringing the moon plate.

If we're counting BB guns, I guess I have to revise my response to about eight. My younger brother got one about the same time. Some BB marks appeared on my mom's dryer. I didn't do it. My brother swears he didn't do it. One of our great family mysteries. Maybe my sister borrowed one of our BB guns and did it. I'll probably never know. My mom and dad have both passed away now but had brought this up at every family gathering through their lives. We were all punished for it just in case.

Twelve. My dad got me a Carcano so I could start deer hunting with him. I still have it and still shoot it but it's been a long while since it's slayed a deer.

Thanks for your thoughtful concern Strick. I would have written the number down but I couldn't get off my bedpan long enough to use my walker to get to a pencil and paper.

I can relate to many of these and they're pretty accurate but some of them made me feel like I've completed the move from one side of the generation gap to the other. ITunes, texting, and Mario Kart I know nothing about. My kids had a Nintendo but when I was a kid I played with a stick and some dirt. Facebook stalking....WTF?
