  1. had pancakes, bacon
  2. I love this
  3. Home sweet home
  4. I've never had it with powdered sugar. Butter and syrup. I used to travel to France often on business. I asked. They never heard of french toast and with all of the meals I've eaten in France, I've never seen it there. Just like french fries. In France and the rest of the world they're just fried potatoes or fries. In the US they're french fries. I think it's all the result of some evil pro French marketing plan. And yes, France is a beautiful country. I wouldn't mind spending more time in France if it wasn't for all the French people they have there.
  5. Welcome!
  6. Why is french toast always left out? It is as good a syrup sponge as pancakes and waffles.
  7. just keeps going
  8. By the way, nice looking rifle. Congratulations. You will love it.
  9. My wife shoots her Mosin without a recoil pad and she's half my size. You can do it. If you can't, be sure to let us know so we can have a chuckle.
  10. If I remember correctly, Next of Kin was about celebrating archery or am I thinking of something else?
  11. It's a great way of getting the feel of carrying in public. You'll think everyone is looking at you. After a while you'll realize that nobody notices. Consider the WalMart walk a break in period for your HCP. Eventially your feel naked leaving the house without carrying.
  12. Please don't misunderstand me. I would prefer that the jobs and the profits stay here. I was the victim of jobs moving to Mexico a few years back. I certainly don't endorse that but would still rather see US vehicles purchased than vehicles made by foreign owned companies. In my opinion the unions and their shenanigans are what have driven much of the US automakers to manufacture outside our borders. I would ideally like to see US citizens buying US vehicles made of US parts by US employees using US materials. Better yet, people in other countries as well buying US vehicles made of US parts by US employees using US materials. Let's get back on top! Anything less than this is sending our dollars, at least to some degree, to other countries. I'm tired of seeing our economy supporting other countries when we need to be looking after ourselves. It kills me to see someone on a government income (my taxes) spending money (mine) to buy a product that builds the economy of another country. Another problem is quality. Too many workers just don't care about the quality of their product anymore. If we build crap, people will by from somewhere else. Work ethics have changed dramatically over the last 25 years. Many don't want to work for a paycheck anymore. Something for nothing is the name of the game and our country can't economically survive long with that attitude.
  13. She's seen Roadhouse. Numerous times. Good flick and good suggestion though. This is more about celebrating gunfire than it is about celebrating Swayze. Wolverines!
  14. All of these things would apply to a car made by a US company as well. In the big picture, I think we're still ahead by buying cars from US comapnies and keeping the purchase profits and ancillary profits in the US.
  15. Daimler dumped Chrysler a while back. It's back in the US.
  16. She was not.
  17. It has returned!
  18. I was in a Best Buy store today and thought I'd pick up a copy of Red Dawn. My wife doesn't recall ever seeing it. After browsing the shelves for a few minutes an employee in the video department approached me and asked if she could help me. I explained that I was looking for a copy of Red Dawn. She said she wasn't familiar with it but she would look it up for me. We went to her computer terminal and she typed in "Red Don". I corrected her and spelled out d-a-w-n for her. She found a listing and it showed out of stock. She appologized for not having it and asked what it was about. I replied that it was about a Russian invasion of the United States. She said "Oh, is it a true story"? Of course I responded "yes". What are our kids learning in school these days?
  19. Regardless of where a vehicle is manufactured, it's where the profits go that seems important to me. A car made in the US by a Japanese company creates profits in Japan. A car made in Mexico by a US company creates profits in the US. Certainly jobs are provided in the country of manufacture but dollars go to the country the company is based in. Am I misguided here?

    TGO MAP

A map with gun ranges would be nice.
  24. SIR is great for an indoor range. Helpful and friendly staff. Pretty good prices on ammo and accessories.
  25. I put Mythbusters on instead of Obama. I guess I would hear heard myths either way.
