  1. We don't need to adopt their border policies. It would be step in the right direction if we just enforced our own existing policies.
  2. It must be your mistake. Our state government doesn't make mistakes.
  3. Cool, I just noticed I show up twice in the list of best scores in the last 500 games. My 15 minutes of fame.
  4. 2.70 enough for tonight. Thanks for the challange.
  5. 3.20 second try. Now I'm on a mission.
  6. 2.99 first try
  7. A light meal
  8. Seriously, it's only been a couple of weeks. I haven't gone into the panic mode yet. But since you asked: ProductModelQuantityUnit PriceTotalSandwich Cap with Color Logo - Color Black tgo-c8301$15.99$15.99Sandwich Cap with Color Logo - Color Olive Drab tgo-c8301$15.99$15.99
  9. It will be just that much more special when they arrive. A TGO hat would be handy when meeting up with some other TGO members this coming Saturday for dinner but no problem, I have some masking tape and a Sharpie.
  10. Yes, I've heard of people doing that. Recently.
  11. The article at that link reports some very interesting numbers on crime reduction. Seems like a no-brainer to me. "The residential burglary rate in Kennesaw fell immediately -- almost 90 percent in the months directly following the law's enactment. That drop far outpaced the more modest 10.4 percent drop in the entire state of Georgia during the same period. In the ensuing years, Kennesaw's crime rate has remained at basement levels. In 2001, there was not one murder in the town. No one was gunned down, even though the entire town is armed! The law has continued to work well for 20 years. And their burglary rate? Well, it seems that thieves are still scared to enter the premises of the average Kennesaw home. Burglaries are still down more than 80 percent."
  12. This should be distributed as a model to our state reps. Along with the one from NH (I think NH) that taxes those that don't own a firearm. Wasn't it somewhere in Georgia that had a law that everyone in town had to own a gun? I'm thinking Kennesaw for some reason.
  13. My friend, Ernie, says to just shoot it outside and then drag it's body inside.
  14. Cute kid. The hat looks good on her. Maybe if I'd ordered pink hats I would have mine now.
  15. The Mayans not the Aztecans. No wonder you're confused.
  16. again it rises
  17. I hope the place wasn't broken into because she went on the interweb and posted a list of her valuables before leaving town.
  18. Yep, a notable day for birthdays. Mikhail Kalashnikov is 90 years old today! I hope he gets a chance to go out and fire off a few rounds. Everyone with an AK should light a candle and say thanks. http://www.itar-tass.com/eng/level2.html?NewsID=14516842&PageNum=0 Also, as pointed out in another thread by TGO David, Happy Birthday US Marines! Not that they are less important then Kalashnikov, but they already have their own well deserved thread. Last, but certainly not least, Happy Birthday TGO member Blackbeltchick! If we all send her a PM we can overload her inbox.
  19. You can't go wrong with Dan Wesson. Really nice!
  20. Maybe they are. Just not here.

I though he had commanded a fox to curl up on his head. It was on the Fox network, right?
  22. I can remember reading about the Mayan calendar probably 40 years ago. I don't think Hollywood had gotten hold of it yet. My recollection was the projected date was in December 2011. Of course my recolllection of things 40 years ago is a little fuzzy. I think it in something written by Eric von Daniken. Either way, 2011 or 2012, better start preparing. I also seem to recollect that it was not predicting the end of the world, just a major change or transition. That could be a good thing? Edgar Cayce also predicted a major change, possibly a shift in magnetic polarity on Earth about this time. Anyway, this has always intrigued me and strickj is right, there are many accounts predicting a major "happening" on the horizon. We just won't know until it happens.
  23. If nothing develops here for the range, OS, I'll get with you to set something up. Tom's Pawn sounds interesting too. I've had my eyes open for a good price on something from In Range. AIM had one a week or so ago and when I went back....out of stock.
  24. Just so I'm clear on this, November 14, 6:00 PM at the Shrimp Dock, 1426 Winfield Dunn Parkway, Sevierville. And what about some shooting at SIR before that? I heard it mentioned but not confirmed. If I'm making the drive all the way to Sevierville, I'd like to get a little range time in. I'm pretty sure Blackbeltchick will be accompanying me.
