I know I'm getting old and out of touch but I had to open this thread to see if I could find out just what a EMO kid is. Struck out there. Pwned and FB are a bit mysterious as well. Pawned and football? I'll have to call one of my kids to clue me in. They speak a strange language too. I did get a chuckle out of the comment from Ryan Smith though so all's not lost.

I always thought there were several jacks. How else could someone be posting 26 hours a day 8 days a week?

I have a S&W 642 and a Kel Tec 3AT for pocket carry. I switch off depending on the occasion. The 3AT in harsh environments. The 642 in harsh neighborhoods.

I agree with Farman. I like seeing a preview of the first line or so when I hover over a thread and didn't see that in the test forum. I like the addition of the "Recent Topics Added" and "Watched Content" on the side. I use the "What's New" button on this forum a lot and didn't find that on the test forum. I suppose the recent topics area would be a similar function. Thanks for your efforts in keeping this place THE place.

It irritates me to see the person in front of me at the checkout counter buying steaks with food stamps while I, with a job and steady income, am buying hamburger to stay within a budget.

So true. Parts of my life seem so removed from where I am today, I think of them as previous lives. Almost like remembering a movie I may have seen. Thanks for the perspective.

Had Dish a few years back. I was happy with the packages and the actual satellite service but the installation was sloppy and I had to peak the dish after he left. I suspect that my installation was an exception rather than the rule.

He tells us when he's ready for bed, when he wants out of his "house", when he wants a light turned on, goodbye or see ya later alligator when he knows you're leaving, he'll tell you he loves you, and he calls the dog and tells him to bring a toy and the dog will do it. He speaks in phrases appropriate for whatever is going on. And he doesn't cuss. Smarter than some people I know.

I had a pit about 30 years ago. My kids took him to a local dog show and he won a ribbon for being the second friendliest dog in Grayson County Texas. Don't recall what kind of dog won first place. He was a great dog.

My rule is to maintain a low profile. Give away as little information about yourself as possible.
