  1. My wife and I both run ethanol free gas exclusively. We also run it in our motorcycles and I use it in my boat. You can feel the difference in the bikes and boat. The mileage in her Jeep increased from around 18 mpg to 21 mpg average when we made the change. My F150 went from an average of about 14.5 mpg to about 15.6. The difference in price I pay is usually only a few cents which make the ethanol free actually cheaper to run when you figure price per mile. When I filled up this past Monday, I bought ethanol free gas at 10 cents less than the three stations nearby that sell gas with ethanol. I travel quite a bit using my F150 and when out of town I use this site to find stations that sell ethanol free gas: Ethanol-free gas stations in the U.S. and Canada Unless your vehicle is designed to use high octane fuel, you're wasting money buying it.
  2. Front pocket in a DeSantis Super Fly. I've also used a DeSantis Nemisis but went to the Super Fly when my wife "borrowed" my Nemisis and decided she liked it. The Super Fly is very similar to the Nemisis but "stickier" in your pocket.
  3. I was shocked while watching the video. And then he started twirling the gun on his finger!
  4. Mrs Stiller is Ann Meara. Stiller and Meara were a very popular comedy team back in the 60s. I used to see them on TV all the time. If you're under 40, you probably wouldn't know her.
  5. Michael Vick (for my dogs) Jim Carrey Any rapper
  6. I seem to recall we had something similar here a couple years ago.
  7. I have a "high end" 1911 and two RIAs. They all work perfectly every time I pull the trigger and they're all more accurate than I am. . The more expensive 1911 is smoother and flashier but you have the option of customizing any 1911 to your heart's content. I have heard good things about the American Classic. It comes from Metro Arms and is from the Philippines as is the RIA. I wouldn't be surprised to find that they actually come from the same factory.
  8. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned bacon or pancakes yet. The staples of any TGO food thread.
  9. We have a pork butt going in the smoker Wednesday evening. It should be ready to feast on by afternoon Thursday.

Toothpick and nail polish has worked well for me.
  11. Or we could just have a pets with guns section.
  12. I love my guns but I love my dogs more.
  13. My wife has a hammerless Charter Arms .38. She loves it and has had no issues. And I got my 642 back.
  14. Your local friendly gun store can certainly get it for you.
  15. Midway has it. $20/20 rds or $180/200 rds for the .40. Other calibers available.
  16. I too, have had the range to myself. On other visits, I've had to wait in line. Another time there was only one other guy there and he just sat on the bench and watched me. It made me a little nervous to turn my back on him to shoot. Between two guns, I never left myself without one in the chamber. It's been several months since I was there last but the wood posts that had held the plastic netting on the pistol lane had been hit so many times, they had fallen over. Regardless, it is my range of preference. Norris is a bigger and better facility but it's also a bit longer drive and it costs more on a per visit basis. And Norris is usually busier. It is a shame to have to drive an hour to get to a place to shoot. And then be unsure of getting a lane to shoot in. A year or two back, M&M Firearms, in Whitesburg, began the process of adding a building for an indoor range but apparently there were complications and the effort was abandoned. I'd probably shoot every week if I had somewhere local to do it. And be happy to pay $15 an hour for the opportunity.
  17. Interesting. Certified Zombie Ammunition. I wonder, just what is the certification process for zombie ammunition? The Hornaday website claims this is "proven" ammunition and offers this disclaimer: "Disclaimer: Hornady® Zombie Max™ ammunition is NOT a toy (IT IS LIVE AMMUNITION), but is intended only to be used on…ZOMBIES, also known as the living dead, undead, etc. No human being, plant, animal, vegetable or mineral should ever be shot with Hornady® Zombie Max™ ammunition. Again, we repeat, Hornady® Zombie Max™ ammunition is for use on ZOMBIES ONLY, and that's not a nickname, phrase or cute way of referring to anybody, place or thing. When we say Zombies, we mean…ZOMBIES!" I better get me some of this. Thanks for the heads up.
  18. I've been practicing for 40 some years. I've got three chords down pretty good.
  19. 19. Blues Brothers (slightly left of center)
  20. They tried to hire the Hillbilly Ninja but he turned them down because they didn't meet his level of professionalism.
