Different situations call for different methods. I look at lasers as a deterrent. From a psychological standpoint, a bad guy seeing a pistol in your hand and red or green dot at his feet may make him think twice about committing a bad deed. If not, you may already have the drop on him. Although I am not afraid to defend myself, family or friends, I would rather plant a little fear than having to go through the legal hassles of is it self defense.

AS stated by a few others, the Shield Arms 15 round magazine set up makes a lighter and narrower carry gun with the capacity of a G19. I hardly notice it when carrying it. I believe it to be a smooth shooter, too.

I have had this welder for many, many years. I have used it very little. It works great. The cables are quite long. I have some rods I'll throw in with it. You are welcome to come and try it out. $500 (it cost me much more than that). I will consider firearms trades.

I have a Sylvan Arms 9mm Glock magazine conversion block. I had it on a AR lower to see if I liked the Glock setup. After trying it out, I decided to buy a legitimate lower. $80

I have a Laserlyte laser for a glock 42. I read somewhere it fits a g43, too. It was on my wife's pistol, but she never cared for it. It works fine, although may need a battery soon. My dogs will miss chasing the dot around the house. $80
