    Tactical?

normally in a pistol, for me "tactical" means threaded barrel and raised/suppressor height sights. At least that's what I've gotten on my FN pistols (509, FNX, 502 (well the 22lr didn't have raised sights but was threaded)). Sometimes with lever guns it's threaded, black, mlok slots, plastic, etc. At a minimum I would assume any "tactical" rifle/pistol would be threaded.
  2. interested and will be passing thru the area if we can arrange a meeting.
  3. There are a few major companies that don't stake their receiver nuts. Keep an eye on it and keep shooting. If you want you could try one of the PWS ratcheting nuts but have heard mixed reviews on them. I have it on one rifle and no issues on the one I have.
  4. really depends upon what you are using it for. If you are doing precision reloading, case forming, etc, then it's hard to beat imperial sizing wax. If you are doing mass quantities, I prefer a spray. One shot is a sure fire way to getting stuck cases IMHO. I have moved to lanolin/alcohol mix. You can buy pure lanolin oil on amazon, and 95% alcohol. Mix up 1:10 (lanolin:alcohol) and put in a spray bottle and you are ready to go. Get a cheap plastic tub from dollar store, spray lube over cases, shake around, let alcohol evaporate, and smooth as silk resizing/loading.
  5. friend recommended I check this group out. I'm in Georgia, but ride my motorcycles in TN a lot (street and dirt), lived by Chattanooga for a few years, and still have quite a few friends in the area. I travel a decent amount and always looking for more information on reloading, shooting, etc. I'm on the ODT in Georgia, (same username with plenty of positive feedback).
