  1. Thanks. Corrected above.
  2. No reason for it to stifle anything really. Just post a link to the original instead of the text of the article. The original plantiff in these suits was a group suing on "behalf" of the Rocky Mountain News. By posting a link, everyone reads the original article, and the copyright holder gets the traffic, advertising revenue, etc...
  3. All those Rohms/RGs sold for about $25 new. They certainly haven't appreciated.
  4. Hero-gear and the Outpost both carry them. I'd call first to check stock.
  5. That's a great review that Chris put together. I'm looking forward to running the class.
  6. The courts are going to weigh in on this soon, and are already kicking some of these "infringement" cases against blog owners out of court. Here's hoping they make the jerks pay legal fees as well.
  7. How terrible. We'll keep him in our prayers.
  8. But not as cool as that truck and a machine gun would be...
  9. Got mine yesterday! Thanks Joe. Looks great.
  10. That's a much different sell to Central Command.
  11. They're so unorganized on their ammo, it's hard to tell what they've got from day to day. I bought some there 2 weeks ago. I can't imagine they sell tons of them.
  12. That's cool, Steve. Make sure to give us a full report!
  13. Yes. That's where I typically get mine.
  14. This is another one I'm hoping to see come around again when I don't have a 3 week old kid. If I were to attend tomorrow, there's a good chance that I would need the skills I learned upon pulling into the driveway
  15. Wal-mart at Nolensville and Old Hickory usually has them in stock.
  16. I tell him the same thing all the time.
  17. The Crimson Trace grips tame it a little bit.
  18. They're not pretty, but they're good pistols. My M&P 340 is 13oz and is a handful with full house .357 loads. The LCR is the same. Roughly analogous to trying to catch a baseball bat. Make sure you're grip is good, and you should be fine. I've got a friend who bought an LCR and sold it after firing it one round. He swore the pistol tried to tear his finger off!
  19. You know what they say. Been married nine times - maybe it's you!
  20. That's a lot of stuff to hang off one rifle. I can totally see backup irons or a small reflex sight at an angle. As to having both and eotech and a full scope, I'm just not seeing it. That's what magnifiers are for. But, to each there own. If you want to do it, can make it work, and can get a decent check weld, then I say go for it, and be proud of it.
  21. That's a nicely written article. Good to see some of you making yourself available for comment.
  22. Man, what a shame. We used to attend Movies in the Park all the time when I was in the college and shortly after. Too bad some idiot had to show up and ruin a fun event for everyone.
  23. You might call first, but any shop worth their salt ought to have at least one of the type. If I had my pick, I'd go for a Belgian made Browning. My dad's carried one for the last 30 years or so. He ran 1000 rounds through it last year in a defensive pistol class with me and didn't experience a single issue.
  24. My wife's grandfather was a "revenuer" for his entire career with the Atlanta office of the ATF. I've read several books on moonshing in Georgia, because he's usually mentioned. They all said that they hoped it wasn't Carl Koppe chasing them.
